Very sorry for the wait. School starting and the stress of a new school and my crappy class etc has been keeping me away from writing. Hopefully I will update soon
That was quicker than I thought. Anyways here is the very prolonged update! Kinda short though. Oh well. Sera?'s POV My head pounded as my eyes blinked open. I stare at the ceiling, it has an intricate design that carries a ballroom aspect and a single glass chandelier hangs in the center, it is covered in hanging shards. Each piece of glass shines, reflecting the light emitting from the heart of the fixture keeping the whole room bright. I turn my head to the side and see the elaborate tiles that cover the whole floor surface. I also see people. Three people, two awake, only one lies unconscious. My dark hair falls in my face as I stumble into a standing position. "Hola, people." the two guys turn. "Your awake!" a teen boy with light brown hair exclaims. "Yeah that's how it seems. Who exactly are you?" They both take a deep breath in and glance at each other quickly as if they can't believe what they're about to say. The brunette looks at me again. "I'm Cyclone, this," he gestures to the other boy, "is Aquarius." "Kinda odd names don't you think?" They both swallow a chuckle as if sharing a secret joke. "What's your name then?" "Well its... Uh, huh, that's weird." my mind goes blank, then is filled with one word. "Inferno." I blurt out. "Just as we thought," the other one says finally, he has a distinctive British accent. "Nice to finally meet you, Inferno ." he emphasizes my name. At least it's all I can remember being my name. I glare at him for a second. Before tuning my attention to a moaning from behind us. We whip our heads around to see the final awakening. "Wonder who she is."
Terra's POV As soon as my eyes opened, the first thing I noticed was that I wasn't on the soil, my heart ached without the rushing feeling I had when I was on it. I stared down at the marble floor for a while then averted my gaze to look at my surroundings. It looked as if I was sitting in some sort of palace, with tapestries lining the walls and because of the sheer size of the room. Leaning against one of the walls was a piano made out of oak. I had a natural ability to play instruments made out of wood, I wasn't quite sure why. It was only then I realised I was sharing the room with three other people, none of them looked Indian so I suspected I wasn't in India any more. "Hola," said a girl from across the room, her Spanish accent unmistakeable. "Um hi," I guess my vast knowledge of Spanish courtesy of Dora the Explorer was going to pay off. The two other boys just gave me a nod as we went back into silence. "My name is.." I was about to form the words Terravani (people call me Terra for short) but all that got lost in my mouth as the word "earthquake" rolled off my tongue. The boy with the brown hair was about to say something but got cut off by the door in the corner of the room opening.... I hope you guys like it, sorry for the wait!!!
Note to readers: I am very sorry for not updating lately. I have been really busy with school drama and homework. Hopefully (I'm working on it) I will update soon. Thx so much for still reading!
I'm extremely sorry for the wait but you can read all that above. Sorry! But here finally, is the update! Cyclone's POV The door creaked as it slowly opened. We all took a breath in anticipation. Suddenly it slammed against the wall as if someone had pushed it extremely hard the rest of the way. A man stumbles through backwards and collapses on the floor. I without thinking run up to him. "Hey! Are you alright?!" I ask, making my way up to him. He moans and gurgles, red liquid spilling over his lips. I see a red stain forming on his shirt. "I need help here!" I yell to the group. Earthquake rushes over with Inferno and Aquarius in pursuit. I unbutton the man's shirt and am greeted with a gaping wound. Blood pools around it, and I realize there is nothing I can do. As I stand he grabs my arm and thrusts a roll of paper into my hand. It resembles a high school diploma, ribbon and all. We gather around him as he falls silent and his eyes glaze over. I stare down at the roll and then look up at the others, now grouped around me. The silky ribbon unties easily and the paper unrolls. The writing is in capital block letters, I read it aloud. " 'CURIOSITY KILLED THE CAT, AND HIM. ASK TOO MANY QUESTIONS AND THIS COULD BE YOU. YOU ARE ELEMENTALS. EACH OF YOU CONTROLS ONE OF THE FOUR ELEMENTS. FIGURE IT OUT WITH YOUR TRUE NAMES. THAT IS ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW FOR THE TIME BEING. Great, we are being held prisoner by an insane murderer." "Hold up." Inferno starts. "What he says is true. I can control fire, huh, that explains it." "Explains what?" I ask. "This." she says before beginning to rub her fingers together. "Come on…" she continues vigorously. Finally she smiles and shows her hand. "Wow…" We all stare in awe; her whole hand has erupted into flames! "That didn't happen last time." She frowns, then looks over to us again. "So mis amigos, what do we do now?"
AQUARIUS "Well first, it says we need to find out what our special element thing is," "Yeah well that's kinda obvious," replied Inferno rolling her eyes in exasperation. "In what way?" This girl was really starting to annoy me now with her constant sarcastic tone. "Well Einstein, haven't you noticed the mark on your arm?" I glanced at my arm and noticed a tiny wave cut into my arm, I touched it and it was as if I was back in the sea. The sound of waves crashed in my ears as the smell of the salty sea engulfed my senses. "Um dude, are you ok?" I woke up out of my trance and saw cyclone's worried face peering over mine. I got up quickly and before I could speak Inferno did. "He's fine, let's get back to business," I glared at her but she only smirked at me, the sparkle of amusement gleamed in her eyes, this wasn't exactly going to be paradise, not to mention the guy on the floor who was now clearly dead. Suddenly, he fluttered open his eyes for a brief moment and spoke with obvious pain; "Whatever you do kids, never trust anyone."
