Episode 9: ~Thę Ñįghtš Šhęñåńįgãńš'~ The dark room suddenly lit up with artificial light, the LCD screen burning bright images into the whites off of a young, blond woman’s eyes. The click-clap of the keyboard echoed throughout the small classroom, shaking not a soul in sight. The sound got vigorously faster and more frequent as she heard footsteps bellowing through the halls, a small sigh left her soft white lipstick lips. “Go away, this classroom is off limits.” She sternly voiced across the room, her ice blue eyes not once looking up. “My bad, I just wanted to do some cleaning.” The long brunette girl impressively made her way to a seat a few desks away from the bright blue light. “What part of off limits don’t you understand class representative?” Lina asked her fingers not missing a beat of the faintly faded lettered keyboard. “I understand that part extremely well; the thing that is troubling is why you are here Miss Ortiz. My understanding of your situation is that you just recently moved to this city four months ago and you haven’t made a single friend in class.” The class representative exhaled proudly that she sounded smart and concerned. “Bug off, I am not here to make friends, just to gain knowledge.” Lina had enough of her jibber jabbering that took away from her studying on the portable laptop. “Ugh your annoying this conversation happens every week, at least try and make it a bit more interesting for me by, oh I don’t know. Not repeating those same lines and try getting outside more, if the teacher finds put you’ve been studying in here he'll go ballistic.” The brunette rested her feet up on the desk and started to swing on her chair. “He won’t find out if you keep your mouth shut, though we all know that won’t happen. The rest of your words are unnecessary and should be cut from your speech. How’s that for change?” She asked sarcastically opening up her black glass case and getting her purple glasses out. The representative was put in her place once again and made a lead for the door. “Sometimes though I wish you’d tell me why your back. Maybe one day you will or maybe you won’t but remember I’m always here for you if anything does happen with you or Dahlia.” “Never say those words again, I know they are to be false, Miss Kaze.” Lina ran her palm through her ice tips. Miss Kaze let out a relieved sigh, “I’m just glad you haven’t changed from when…” The long brunette girl had left the dark room, shutting the door softly as to not cause any attention. “What was that all about Kami?” Suddenly a shadow appeared behind, startling her and sending her on a fury of nonsense. “Well that girl… She’s in my class and it’s my responsibility and duty as the class representative is it not, to make sure she gets back on track as soon as possible? I being the great leader and representative that I am are being her guardian angel until that time comes-" Kami Kaze was cut off sternly by the shadow in front of her. "I, Shinoki Ayumi am the leader of all class representatives and head of council presidency, the fact that your here after school hours means only one thing to a guy like me." The shadow was around a couple of centimetres shorter then Kami but still managed to hold a certain level of authority over her. He smoothly nestled his finger underneath the brunettes chin and stroked it softly. "You came to see me." “Super Mega Climax Thunder Frying Pan Attack!” A thunderous explosion had occurred in the hallways of the not-so-deserted high school. A frying pan shaped dent was the result of the blast as Shinoki tried his best not to cry out of laughter. “Super effective!” The boy yelled as he ran for his life hoping to not face the frying pan again tonight, once a day was enough for him. A puddle of water was starting to form of the baths surface, the shower head still dripping from just being used. The water droplets caused a chain of reaction making a small ripple in the pool of water; a towel suddenly covered the puddle, absorbing the water. “You’re done Mima?” An urgent voice called. “Yes just finished getting changed, what do you want Lucy?” The damp blue haired girl asked in short breath. “Just-" Lucy’s voice suddenly cut off as she punched through the locked door of the bathroom, sending flying chunks of wood all over the floor. “That I can’t figure out this game on your laptop, the cards and numbers and symbols gave me a headache.” The smaller girl couldn’t believe sometimes that she was the younger one, being two years younger than a Doll could be the worst thing possible. “Do you mean the game solitaire? And don’t bring electronics into the bathroom or break doors! I’m going to have to pay for it.” Mima sighed heavily, outing Lucy into the living room and forcing her to sit on the black furniture. “Wait… Mima you don’t have money.” Lucy understood that much of human life at least. Mima collapsed and slowly slid down on the couches back, “give me the laptop. You’re banned.” You could hear the whinny tears and quivers come straight away from Lucy. “Wh… Why?” Lucy abruptly stood up, the laptop was falling to the ground in slow motion, Mima betting the passage of time and the laws of physics caught the laptop as she stumbled into the cold, hard tiles. “Why do you even wanna know how to play that stupid game anyway? It’s rigged.” Mima grumbled under her breath. She shivered as she slowly got up, giving Lucy a fiery red eyed stare. The pink haired Voodoo had to ponder the thought; she traced her long, pale pointy finger around her soft lips. “Because… Because of the Doll I love.” She spoke with raw emotion, the comparison between her and a child who just found their first crush was uncanny. “Get out of my house.” Mima pointed coldly at the front door that was hidden from their position, slumping back on the couch. She turned all her attention towards her Voodoo Doll. “So even you guys fall in love?” Lucy snickered at her Controllers question, “doesn’t everybody? Or should I put it, every being fall in love at some point?” Lucy stared off into the distance; it didn’t take a genius to see she was thinking about her love. “Maybe but I’m ten!” Mima yelled, not scared of her parents hearing her because they were not even at home. The usual circumstance for a week night. Lucy softly patted Mima’s blue, damp hair. “Of course humans have that sort of limitation.” The taller Voodoo’s eye sight remained un-shifted. “Mima, I need to fight him. Not now but at the end. I know he will make it there because I believe in him but I want to spend some time with him before that happens. Can we do that, please?” Lucy’s voice was filled with concern and what-ifs. Mima began to dose off; the inviting scene of the dark night was too much for such a fragile child. “Alright, if that’s what you want I just hope he’s worth it and his Controller has some sense. So what’s his name and where does he live?” Lucy snapped back into reality, promptly spinning around to face the almost sleeping Mima. Her messy pig tails feel to the front of her chest. “The Voodoo’s name is Yusuke and um…” Lucy twiddled with her fingers. “I don’t know how to find him.” Lucy was prepared for Mima to yell at her for her stupidity but she was astounded to find her knocked out on the couch. The Voodoo smiled warmly at her Controller giving off a motherly vide, though it was quickly replaced as Lucy chucked Mima’s body over her shoulder and moved her onto her bed. “Don’t let the vampires bite.” The Voodoo Doll whispered in a serious tone. “I won’t.” Mima’s honeysuckle voice whispered back to her Voodoo.
AWESOME! And oooo Lucy's in looooove~ X3 Sweetness! Couldn't have been a better intro. XD oh god I laughed at the frying pan. It is super effective
Episode 10: ~Dãrkñęšś øf Įdęåłš~ ~Even when I'm walking on barb wire~ ~Even when I sat myself on fire~ Why do I always feel invisible, invisible~ ~Every day I try to lock my past~ Even though inside I'm such a mess~ ~Why do I always feel invisible, invisible~ This is how Alcana felt before the blackening, her thoughts are passed on by these lyrics. Talking wasn’t her strong point, knowing what to say wasn’t a language she had learned but what she did learn was that the strongest support came from the few people that never believed her words when she did. “Ladies and gentlemen. We are gathered here today to farewell not only a great comfort within me but also a great example of the purest human life. Living.” Alcana kneeled down next to a stone hedge, the hedge was engraved with simple words. ‘Here lies Voice, a companion, a guinea pig.’ Alcana could not stand it anymore, her emotions stacked up like glacier upon glacier upon the Antarctic Ocean. She gave into her emotions squealing, yelling hysterical things and crying. “Sorano! No! No! No.” Alcana yelled, her voice being drowned out by the airplanes flying across the sky. In panic her parents stormed out into the backyard to find their daughter in a state of agony. Her body was flailing against the ground, the noises coming out of her mouth seemed almost unhuman. Her parents tried to calm her, forcing her body down so she couldn’t hurt herself in the process. Tears falling down their eyes as they held back their only daughter, distressed at why she was like this. “Where’s Sorano? Where’s Big Brother? Where are they! What did you do to them!” Alcana stared into her mother’s eyes with full blown hatred, she had confused her emotions and put the burden on her parents. If she was thinking clearly this would have never happened but what can you do. A raw emotion is hard to escape from. Her mother tried to hold her down but Alcana’s tears held her mother back, she just couldn’t bring herself to hold back her daughter. Even if she would have gotten hurt but that’s where her father came in. Tightly pinning the small girl onto the ground. “Please Alcana stop with this nonsense. Your brother… He… Can’t come back anymore. And we don’t know who Sorano even is.” Alcana’s mother tried to keep a brave face, both her parents where but it was just not possible. Seeing your daughter feeling such sadness, no parent would be able to bare it. “No they must come back! I can’t be alone, I’m scared. I… I-“ Alcana was shockingly cut off as a strong, short figure jumped next to the father of Alcana. “Let her free. My associate and I will take care of her.” Either from shock or from trust of the strange person that just showed up and asked to whisk away his daughter her father let go of her. The bed-head, silver hair boy delicately picked up the small framed Alcana and jumped away from her parents. Alcana’s mother falling from her knees from shock. “Mother.” Alcana whispered into the ear pierced boys shoulders, her clear sky tears soaking into his navy school uniform-like clothes. “That’s what you’re worried about? Tell me do you even know who I am?” Yusuke looked curiously at the small girl he held in his arms. “I don’t care. All I want is revenge and you’re a Voodoo Doll.” Alcana frozenly stated. “Since when where humans smart?” Yusuke chuckled to himself, “Ichiru should be happy about you then.” The Voodoos light blue eyes shinned with the help of the moonlight. The two beings jumped from rooftop to rooftop as the moon began to set in, their bodies becoming one with the nights shadows. Slowly coming to a stop and landed on the seventh floor of an apartment building, waiting for them was a taller boy with faded, shredded black hair. “Alcana?” From the boys voice he seemed shocked to see the girl in front of Yusuke, Ichiru quickly ran inside to get some sort of blanket for Alcana to wear over her clothes so she didn’t catch a cold. “Apparently this school mate of yours got blackened. Seems like more and more opponents keep showing up and causing trouble.” Yusuke walked over back inside the apartment, clearly detached and unfazed by the new find. Ichiru was at a loss for words, one problem was he didn’t know how to respond the other, he didn’t know how to even hold a conversation with anyone besides Yusuke. “So you’re a Controller like I used be to be Ichiru Mamoru. Can you blacken the person who blackened me?” Alcana had changed, the once innocent and socially underestimated girl had now become the Queen of the Ice. “Umm…” Was all Ichiru could get out as she continued. “I won’t let them get away with it, they deserve it. I know it’s a tall order but I will do anything for revenge.” Alcana’s dark blue eyes looked fiercely into Ichiru’s purple eyes. Ichiru thought for a while up on the balcony, all this was in the end his own decision. He would have to take out this person sooner or later so why not start now. “Alright, but I don’t need anything from someone so useless so just sit back.” Ichiru gave his answer and gestured her to the fire escape. Alcana gave a cold huff, “what is your logical that I am useless?” Ichiru shrugged, “isn’t it obvious?” The tall boy retreated inside his apartment for the night, secretly questioning every move he had made tonight and not just from the card game Yusuke and him had before the Doll decided to go for some wondering. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Wondering where I got the lyrics from to describe Alcana’s feelings? It’s the remix of the song Invisible from Nightcore, for the full song I suggest looking it up on YouTube. Have a nice day.
Episode Special: ~Įñdępęñdęñçę Dåÿ, thę Çøūñtÿ Ãçrøßß thę Łåñd~ The dark backdrop of the night provided the perfect stage for the multi-coloured fireworks. The flickers of the sparkles raining down below on the people in awe of the spectacle. As the night was setting in, the smells and sounds of sizzling sausages rang through the ears and stomachs of many hungry people gathered around at a park barbecue. "Slurp!" Are young, spiked orange harked friend sloppily ate whatever food he could find on his plate. "Leo, is it necessary to consume food at such an alarming rate? You might-" The more mannered, dark blue haired Doll was interrupted. "Don't- Be- Ridiculous! This is- The way to enjoy Independence Day!" Leo chomped down on a large piece of chicken he found from one other the other friendly people's barbecues taking place. The poor Doll Vargas could only watch in dismay as the young, small framed boy continued to eat. Though something else seemed to be on his mind as well as he looked up to take in some local fireworks. "It seemed like it was only yesterday." He whispered to himself but unluckily for him Leo had an acute sense of hearing. Leo stopped consuming his food and started to wave it around in front of the older Dolls eyes. "You’re not thinking about that Voodoo Doll and his partner you meet with your old partner. Gee Vargas it's been so long and you've got someone new to look after don't be thinking about the past so much." He huffed. Vargas smiled at the innocent boy’s eyes, softly touching the top of his carrot-top head. "I know but... That Dolls partner had a son about your age. I've always felt guilty for not protecting Li enough so that his partner's son still had a father." Vargas's blue, oceanic eyes were filled with sadness. "Ha! Maybe if he did he wouldn't act like such a jerk when we visit him." Leo laughed loudly; as he did a luring figure went over to him. "You’re still a brat I see cousin. Though even though my mother invites you overseas I do wish you didn't bring that monster with you." They figure had dark brown hair with a hint of gold going throughout. Leo chocked at his sudden appearance. "Vargas is not a monster! He is powerful and smart. Besides the only reason I show up is to eat the delicious American food nothing else." The orange haired boy was now again stuffing his face. The cousin of Leo gave Vargas a hateful but understandable stare. "Don't choke idiot." The piercing light green eyes of the boy rolled and walked away. "I'm not an idiot Alex!" Leo childishly screamed at the crowd of people Alex had entered. "One day he will get what's coming to him." Leo sternly told the long haired Voodoo. Vargas sighed as he leaned against an old tree. "Leo he only cares about you. Besides you have something to look forward to when we return. We have grown so much over this passed month that Doll Lucy won't stand a chance." Vargas spoke trying to get his Controller to calm down. Leo's amber eyes looked surprised. "No our holiday has almost ended!" The young boy started to cry into Vargas's strong, supporting shoulders. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Hello~ Mel here just like to say happy 4th of July special even though I live in a different country.
