Once the words slipped past my lips it felt as if he were crushing me to him, afraid of letting me go. A huge relief settled over me, now that I said the words that I hadn't even realized I wanted to say. "I love you too. Oh god, I love you." He whispered to me. Then his hands rushed into my hair and our lips crashed together once again. A feeling settled in my stomach, this was right it had to be. Finally I did what was right and there would be so many people to benifit from it, especially Charlay and me. "Don't ever let me go." I managed to mutter between our kiss. "I won't." He promised. ¦¦¦¦¦¦¦A Month Later¦¦¦¦¦¦¦ "Charlay! Where are you?" I called walking through the hallway to the kitchen. I could hear her giggles spilling from the garden just outside the kitchen. A grin spread across my face and I quickened my step to reach the double doors. "Mommy help!" I could see Charlie tickling Charlay causing her laughter to ring out like bells. Her rosy cheeked face was filled with joy and a warmth spread through ky body at the sight of them together at last. "I'm coming baby!" I fake concern and run towards them effectively tackling Charlie over away from a hysterical Charlay. Right as she was calming down and thinking it was all over I leapt off Charlie and turned on her. Her huge eyes gaped at me as she realized what was about to happen. She grins and tries to scramble up onto her little knees to get away but I scoop her up and blow raspberries on her cheeks. Shrieking laughter rings out and Charlie joins in. This was it. This was life. This was all I needed. I came here unwillingly by tragedy and chose to stay for love and a family. I didn't need anything else. Contentness seeped through my body as Charlie and I played with our daughter. Our. Daughter. It feels so good to say that. It feels so good to finally have someone I am in love with to share my most precious achievement with. I wish I realized it sooner, but I really did need Charlie. That is in the past and this is now. Now. {The End} Hurrayyy! Their journey is finally complete. I am so happy I finished this story as I rarely actually have the commitment to do so. It was you guys who kept me mostly on track and I thank you. This is also why I am considering doing a sequel, tell me what you think! I have a couple of ideas sooo lettme know. I don't know how soon it will be up though, I'm completing my biology portfolio which is twelve projects long and I've gotten two done so far lmao. Basketball is coming to an end next Friday officially . So I should definitely have more time to update until tennis starts! In March lol. Thank you guys so much!
