You are probably trying to equip one that you haven't bought. Click owned tab and then tap the lamp.
I can see it in your account. Make sure you are tapping the right slot, it's the Bedside Shelf which is the left hand side above the bed.
You can also get them from furniture boxes by completing 'Stories'.
