UPDATE The Great Dorm Tower Update

This is because when you get a new dormmate, they are still 1/5th of what you spent. Skipping is bad now because in your example a person can have easily 40 t7 3 stars or 5 t8 3 stars, which is way more stats than a singular tier 9 base thus more stats meaning more money per hit. Ofc if you have a lot of money then from refund or volley, you can skip tiers at start, but in longer game its hard!

 

I lost my T14s and received no refund. That seems wrong.

so like can anyone answer why everyone is receiving their refunds at the same time (for dorm mates and unlocking dorms) but i only receiving one. & when i sent in a ticket it was closed and said refer to forum but i don’t see that being answered here so? ATA do better.

Maxing my whole dorm with t8 gave me more stats overall and I still have a good majority of my refund. Ngl this update was hella good for everyone 200mcs and below. Rip to the big dawgs tho. I’d be livid and seeking refunds from the 🏦

 

On ata day they told us to go ahead and upgrade like normal and it would help us when we got the update. Now come to find out that’s not the case at all

People with 98/98 dorm rooms unlocked don't get a refund because the dorm rooms are just as or more expensive to fully unlock? The beginning tiers are cheaper which is why smaller accounts are getting refunds, but the later tiers are more expensive. My next dorm room unlock is like 3T more expensive than it was previously.

 

What are you on? The update hasn’t rolled out to us yet. We still have T14s 🧑🏻‍🦯 They’re making it too easy to grow at the start…

 

Actually what she’s saying is we don’t get a refund for dorm rooms with 98 open. Because dorm rooms get more expensive the more you open. We only get refunded on the dorm mate side not the dorm room side

 

Shouldn’t that mean it’s easier to calculate ? Which means faster rollout?

 

Maybe someone can help me understand this.
I have 87/98 dorms opened. 24 of these dorms are empty, but opened.
I did receive a refund for spending on dorm mates.
I did not receive a refund from unlocking dorm rooms.

From the screenshots I have seen from several other players these refunds came immediately on the same day players received the update.
Each update was something along the lines:
Spending on Dorm mates:
As part of our dorm mate and room rebalance, xxx,xxx,xxx,xxx,xxx has been refunded to your bank (Mr Cash) from your spending on dorm mates.

Unlocking Dorm Rooms:
As part of our dorm mate and room rebalance, has been xxx,xxx,xxx,xxx,xxx refunded to your bank (Mr Cash) from your spending on unlocking dorm rooms.

I reached out to support and they offered little explanation, redirected me back to the forum post, and proceeded to close my ticket. I have since reopened it.

I never received refund!! Some received 200t to 500t refund and new players with small stats, why try....Ata will screw you one way or another. They did me 10 years ago, still not able to retrieve old account lmao.
