UPDATE The Great Dorm Tower Update

I didn’t receive the rebalance care pack on my alt, nor do I have the dorm tower upgrade. I tried making 3 separate tickets and the only response I got was not helpful nor did it address my issue. the bot simply did not understand. so I lost out on the promo and getting the chance to upgrade my dorm. what a great 5x promo weekend. Whole thing is one BIG mess

 

It took me forever to find it in my ITEMS when it said it would be under JDs store. Absolute mess and Support never got back to me.

 

I tried buying it from the store, it wasn’t in my items. no dorm tower update, nothing. it’s like my account was skipped over completely. I got it on my main, the rcp, so I know where to find it. but yeah, the GREAT dorm tower upgrade is not so great

 

Now that promo is done, I wonder when the next wave of rollouts will be 🥸

 

So the cp expired for those of us that were actually able to get it, even though the disadvantage we are at is unfair.

I see we’re once again talking to a brick wall despite multiple ppl, myself included, suggesting it stays in effect until we get the update considering some ppl are a couple weeks plus into the updated system already and have the growth from promo under their belts now too.

Also, I’ve seen several ppl say they didn’t even get it and support was extremely unhelpful or straight up ignored them, so how is that remotely fair to them?

That means they missed out on that 100% of cash every single hit. Their refunds should be bigger imo whenever they finally get the update. Idk what happened for them to not be able to access it bc I did get mine but ik it isn’t fair that they didn’t get theirs.

Same for me. Support said I must already have the update if no care pack shows in the store. Checked my solo bonus tab and haven't got one. But all my old dormmates are still there so definitely not the case.

 

My account with 46/98 didnt get the update, while my friends account who has 44/98 did and they are now higher stats than me when before the update they were 20MCS behind. Created accounts in the same year.

 

I agree! So many of my tuts are being taken. Watching brand new players quickly over pass is beyond frustrating. The fun is being taken away from people that have committed time and money into the game

As a player of almost 5 years, I'm just disappointed and demotivated.

 

For me for some reason the new doormates were showing as a possible purchase on my tower. But were locked behind having 30 rooms which I had 38, so I thought I will open a new dorm, opened a new dorm and then I was able to change the old ones for the new ones, the thing is... I didnt get no refund or anything and I still had to spend money changing roomates manually I didnt received the special care package because the system must have detected that I had atleast 1 new roomates so It assumed my account was updated when I had like 2 new roomates and the rest of them were the old ones. Now Ive changed all my tier 7's into the new ones. The support bot asked me to clear cache and reinstall the app. I did that and now I can't purchase new doormates anymore so I kinda Have mostly new doormates, except for my tier 9's which cost 5T to change into new t9... But still no refund no nothing. So Im basically in a limbo where I have both doormates old and new living in harmony in the same tower😑. Tho I must say that even with half updated doormates It gives waaaaay too much money compared to before. So I understand why people not updated yet are in a huge disadvantage. Like Its probably more than triple extra money per hit you get if youre updated. Because a new tier 7 upgraded to 3 star which is a mere 64,4 Billions(the upgrades each star costs too little and give like double the stats) has a bit more stats than the old tier 11 that costs 7 Trillions...

 

Literally EVERY single day! Can’t upgrade, can’t keep tuts for plunder. This game sucks so bad.

The 2 day bs care package helped a tiny tiny bit but we should get to keep it before the updates happen. I’m having accounts well over 100mcs steal my tuts knowing I can do nothing about it. Completely inflated and destroyed the tut market for us people stuck in limbo with lower stats. I don’t care how bad they think they “deserve” the update before us because they spend money. That doesn’t make you better. That makes you a corporate shill and honestly a loser. Sorry not sorry.

"Yes they will, because the longer that users are accelerated from 40 to 300mcs, the more cash and drops they will earn while everyone else waits, and there isn't anything we can do about those people who have earned that unfair advantage"


Here, fixed a couple of the responses for you.

 

I’m deeply disappointed in the lack of communication and lack of updates to the dorm tower. You had maintenance last night which would have been the prime time to roll this out to a significant portion of your player base. Why is your communication with your community SO BAD? Genuinely, why don’t we have quicker responses to our feedback and concerns?

The players who have been consistently supporting this game for years both through gameplay and monetarily are getting shafted by you. What gives?

Our accounts get further and further behind every party we complete because the discrepancies in earnings are so vast on the old versus the new system. So, what will you do to FIX this?

 

Do you have an alt that has the update? Or make a new acct recently?

I ask because there’s a glitch in it, and I’ve personally experienced it. If you have an alt with the update, and you log out of your main who doesn’t have the update to log into your alt, it’ll look like the normal dorm tower. HOWEVER. If your main account has the update, and your alt doesn’t, it’ll flip that way too. You see things you shouldn’t.
