probably some people haven’t claimed their previous ranked rewards from the different UD so it takes longer for the system to compile in the main leaderboard
This. This! THIS! I only spent resources I had saved up to get 934. I don't think leaderboards should be part of these events.
As a person who didn't spend on this event. I was able to land in T500 just from resources being saved up, sure it was a lot of time spent on being on my phone but I'm a ftp player and I managed to stay around the 125-200 range for majority of it, what I don't agree with is having to wait an entire extra day to get my rewards when you guys set up an auto claim feature for people who don't claim the mini xc events within the 30 minutes.
While i did not make the tier i wanted to..It did get me ..engaging in it. The seagull event was better but atleast i made enough to get the first avi. So i am content ♡.
Where did i say you were the only one? Theres more then 1 position for stuff on leaderboard. I was just saying a general response. But if it triggered you that much maybe you do have some things to think about
This confused the hell out of me, honestly. I thought I had more time to punch up to over 1.5k. I know they announced it in this post how long the event would run but just looking in from the game itself and it says the event has 24 hours left is so fucking confusing.
I was also someone who t500 without spending money. It did use a lot of my resources though. If you actually wanted to t50 and higher then you’d definitely have to drop money. Which isn’t surprising that they did an event that would push people to buy a lot of keys and specifically dns because 4th of July is coming up and that’s one of the times of year people upgrade their accounts so now people won’t have as many dns saved up and will raise the chances of people buying dns At this point the leaderboard consists of the same people who drop $ on the game and what happens? These prizes like the Avi boxes will sit in their showcase because no one can afford to pay 1K-1.5k on a Avi except people who have the bentos who are ALSO people who have the Avis from being in LB themselves 59 begin with because they ALSO spend the $. So it’s just one big circle lol It does take a lot of time and work just to even get to T500 so please consider changing the gap between 50 and 500. I would’ve been fine with either the 999 or just the cow avi without any tradable box. I mean i would’ve given up both my vip avis in t500 for just the cow tbh. But yeah. It was long and not enjoyable even though the theme was cute and the mix of quests was nice.
I'm also someone who placed in T500 without spending money, but I had been saving resources for a whiiiile and had friends help. I already had DNS, speedups, etc. stocked up. I did have fun with this event, but I had a lot of the same thoughts/issues others mentioned. It’s just way too long. It doesn’t only take either money and/or a ton of resources, but also a ton of time which luckily I mostly had. By the time it started feeling like too much, I had already invested so much into it that quitting wouldn’t have felt worth it (I’m also stubborn.) But after a while, the rewards started feeling less worth the amount of effort/resources being put in. Howeverrr, I do think it’s really cool seeing so many f2p players place T500, so it’s not all negative. The events were a nice change from just hitting parties and they actually gave me a reason to use all the pet capsule speedups I’d been hoarding. The regular versions of the avis are easy to get. I also loved the decor boxes, but I’m biased because strawberries. The cow avi is adorable and I really wish I could’ve gotten it for a friend. Some possible ideas/solutions that probably weren’t asked for and may not even be realistic: • Instead of events running back-to-back all day, maybe split players into separate event groups/schedules. Example: Have 2 overall XCs with different points. One group could have sub-events mainly during "mornings" while another has them at "night", but both would have the same rewards. The obvious issue is people trying to participate in both. Maybe there could be some kind of item/selection system that locks you into one group? Not sure how difficult that'd be or how much that'd put on the game. Idk that idea is a work in progress 🤣 • Improve the rewards to better match the amount of effort/resources required. Maybe increase the leaderboard size too. Personally, the T500 rewards feel more like T1500 rewards. I think it'd be a win-win situation because ATA would still be getting money from it and there'd probably be more participation. Instead of just the big money spenders, people who would be willing to spend a bit would more likely spend. Or maybe I'm dumb and sleep deprived. 😂 • I saw someone else say to take the lb away with events like this and just make it tiers & that makes so much more sense. Not everyone will get everything but it wouldn't be big spenders vs everyone else. Gives a chance for the rest of us. Even if certain tiers ended up being aimed for p2w. Just don't make it majority p2w please 😭 let us f2p enjoy these events and have rewards that match how much work we put in. I didn't read every comment so I'm sorry if I repeated someone. The variety of events meant that more people could participate, so that was a great change. A larger window of rewards would be nice as people have complained in the past about the 50-500 range. Why not make another reward category of 51-100. I didn’t participate as much this event but I did like the variety. I just think a whole 24 hours of no xc events is confusing given the additional timer. Most people might still be confused by that and since these events are spaced out, it’s easy to forget they stop early.
