I lied earlier. Here is my long post. Number nerd time....again....to prove that mathematically this is not possible for PotD/PPotD clubs unless they still spend a good amount or really grind and lose sleep, which let's face it...this game isn't worth that with how the apes treat their players and their concerns. 250,000 points across 90 days equates to 2,778 points per day. If you by chance max out the timer boxes and spinner points, you then need 244,500 points, which would equate to 2,717 per day across 90 days. Since PotD & PPotD both drop 105 (That is a whole different issue that is never acknowledged or addressed by ATA...why does pro not drop more for this when it drops more of every other item than PotD?) we get: 250,000 (2,778 per day) points at 105 drops needs 26.45 PotD/PPotD per day. 244,500 points (2,717 per day) needs....25.88 PotD/PPotD per day 😱 Soooo....those extra points from timer boxes and spinning in the big picture don't help much at all when it still comes out to 26 PotD/PPotD per day either way. Sure there are the DN and PIM-key options for points, but not everyone has those. The previous calculations show you'd have to use a ton of those too to actually make it worth the while of cutting down on how many PotD/PPotD you need to hit. So, yeah, maybe a PotD/PPotD club can finish it, but how many ec parties are they also running? Since there is no PotD/PPotD club I know that can complete 26 parties in a 24 hour day for 90 days consecutively. From being able to complete a story pass at least one and a half times to not even being able to complete this should never be passed off as okay. It reinforces the greediness ATA has turned to that so many turn a blind eye to simply because they choose to/have the ability to spend on here to complete these things. This format just further pushes the divide between PotD/PPotD clubs and ec clubs. As someone who has played this game for 12 years and has been admin or president of the club I am in since day 1 of joining this game, I will never stop advocating for the long term players, the casual spenders, the smaller players who got this game to the point it could become this cash grab, greedy ass version it now is to get some type of reward for their loyalty too. If ATA truly heard their players and cared about their happiness on this game they could find a happy medium; however, that is not the case. They could alternate the old story pass format and this new battle pass format. I would have no complaints. To keep pushing this down our throats when many have said they don't care for it shows our voices don't mean anything when the apes are still sitting there counting their money that speaks louder than any words ever could.
At this point give us dark romance battle pass next time 🤭 Satan's Affair/Haunting Adeline/Hunting Adeline themed.. Or God of Malice, Beautiful Venom, Blackthorn, Twisted series, Dark verse series etc.. 😁 I'd enjoy bp more if it's dark romance themed 🫦😏
Is it getting more and more expensive to get it now? Also even tho I love the theme (fantasy), it would be great to have one that has never been done before. Pretty sure the first one was fantasy themed already, even tho it was specific (beauty & the beast if I remember correctly). So this battle pas is yes and no for me lol
I like these avatars and I always love medieval theme, but I do agree it is kinda played out. It is a theme I do almost always enjoy seeing though. I appreciate the inclusion of a ECs option this time. I do wish for some way of making battle passes more dynamic like story passes were, where you have different story paths and choices to make. Also, please tay away from the "dark" romance shit even though someone suggested it. That genre contains and romanticizes triggering topics such as sexual assault that shouldn't be advocated for, especially in a phone game. The issues in Pub chat regarding pedophilia and incest is bad enough as it is; we don't need endorsement of those topics from the game devs.
Why is the price to pay in ec not equal to the amount of ec one would get from spending money to buy ec? Its ridiculous that you would "listen to your playerbase" who very much want the option you removed returned - only to make that option more expensive? Why are you nickel and diming us.
Yay recycled Avis rather than at least something more interesting/good looking. I guess at least the EC option is back even though far more expensive than it originally was and at least some of the stats look nice 😒 its a 4-6/10 for me
Let me waste my time for a minute more.... It's been said every single time we've had a battlepass before, remove the notification for the VIP pass if we did not buy it. It does not make me want to buy it to get rid of it, which I'm sure is the tactic here. It does the opposite. It annoys me to the point it furthers my resolve to not buy it. Moving it to its own section was basically pointless at helping the issue.
I really like both masc and fermentation avatars. My bf also likes the masc avatars, so I think they're probably hitting the right level of 'masculine' for a pass. I wish we got an actual recolor for vip+ rather than a filter. I've said it before and remain of like mind that the filters do not enhance the design. Although, this one does match that cute candlelit dorm, Glow Haven. Love the last unicorn stat item 🤩 I'm also a fan of the overall theme. Feels Brigerton reader. I miss the story passes, but I appreciate the clarity moving forward that this is a battle pass. I appreciate the option to buy with ec returning. I see you've decided to make it more expensive. While I'm not a fan, I can understand that you want the pricing of this pass to be slightly more than ec earned via tapjoy or bought at a reduced price. Overall, I'm happy the option to buy it with ec has returned at all. Really hate the big red number that will not go away. At least give us an option to acknowledge its existence once a day like we can the store. I plan on buying this, but not immediately. It's annoying to see it perpetually there, esp on my alt for whom I will never buy it for.
Additionally, as far as drops required to reach the max tiers, I understand these battle passes as an enhancement to vip players experience. Meaning, those who frequent ec clubs of flashes and are already getting quite a lot of drops. It would be nice, and I think it would also be well received, to run an additional pass alongside that caters to POTD/PPOTD clubs that gives them extra reward tiers at a lower price entry point, for less overall drops and therefore ofc less rewards. Something in between the free pass and the paid pass. Perhaps just a $10/100ec or so option with no free option that could enhance their experience.
It’s still not useful if they have trouble to complete more than 4-5 parties per 24 hours especially if it’s a 4-5 hours party duration . Additionally to have break for x hours in their clubs. Some are casual players meaning not playing every day. So it’s difficult to find a balance for it. So even 89 days might not be enough to complete it . If you do 28 drops per party (if we guess that not everyone can have max drops on a party).
Can’t make a single thing without making it sexual; ata is run by gooners atp you can’t convince me otherwise. Luckily one of the best male Avis is free and the second best is the guy in water with a sword so I’ll not be buying this pass anyways lol I’ll enjoy the free Avi the most
where is the sexualized avis at? 🙈 THE MOST I can see that would be considered “sexual” by some people is the fact it’s showing legs😭🙏 and if we wanna go down that route then I would say the first Tier avatars ( free avi) are the ones being “sexualized” yet you’re saying that’s the only avi you’ll enjoy… Personally I think these avis are cute. Not “sexy” or “hot” just cute and pretty.
I actually for once agree with this. I’m a BIG sexualised pimd content hater 🦔 I think it ruins the vibe 9/10 times and has been done more than anything else. But looking at these bp Avis I wouldn’t actually put most of them in that bracket. The water Avis I ASSUME are inspired by King Arthur & The Lady of the Lake. King Arthur recieved the sword from The Lady of the Lake (assuming that’s like the f avi of her holding it). When he was fatally injured, Sir Bedivere threw Excalibur back into the lake as Arthur ordered for it to be returned to her. (This is ONE rendition of the story for reference, the sword in the stone is an entirely different telling. The lake is cooler imo) The only avi I personally read as sexualised from these ones is actually the final tier M, not even the F. BUT because of the funky uncommon perspective, I actually like that one too. I understand a lot of people aren’t as into fantasy and history as I am, but I think at this point sexualised romance stuff has been done just as frequently, so it’s not a fair trade off to pick one over the other. (I also think the raising prices and all that drama is uncool but all my opinions on that have been said by others already)
