I believe the collecting avis mission isnt that hard But since we have PIMDFLATION BENTO INFLATION rn Where shards avi that used to cost 40-80b become 250-400b It is impossible Also im posting these comment without checking the new info post and others comment yet, sorry if i talked about something not so important
Someone calculated it… you need 120 USD minimum, if you are lucky and get all the shards you need.. And probs the double the amount if you are not
So I just talked to 2 people who have this question active and this is so messed up. The quest itself is fairly simple, collect 1 of each of the new furniture pieces to receive the avatars with ~1y for the quest expiration. But the drop rates for the special furni boxes are so terrible, Im getting reports that they are 1-2 boxes every 40-50 EC PARTIES. One person said they did 17ec parties with no boxes AFTER yall said you upped the drop rate for them. And they ONLY drop from ec parties. So not only do we have to spend ec/bentos to collect all the avis, but we have to spend ec/bentos for flashes or premium ran clubs to be able to continue this. With an absoloutly indeterminate timeline, for an indeterminate amount of spending. So the people who are primarily free to play or prefer p/potd clubs are just left to hang out to dry? Good luck hope the 1y timeline is good enough to finish the quest eventually? I cant properly express how appaled I am at this. Nevermind the fact that you have made this furniture account locked so people can't generously gift their friends or try to sell it to recover the costs with bentos. The furniture boxes are also account locked. Ive heard they become tradable after the quest is completed but I have yet to have someone confirm this for me. I see now after re-reading the OP its not even the furni boxes themselves that become tradable after the quest completes but rather a box with one random pre-determiened furni item in it. Thats so much worse even. And then we are left with another indeterminate amount of time on how long they will drop for once that quest is complete along with the question of whether or not they can be traded freely or only to those with the quest active. The paywall of this is insane. You keep saying youre listening to our feedback and taking it into consideration but thats a blatant lie. The fourms are full of feedback from players on what we want to see in this game, praise on what is good, and in-depth backlash on what is bad. I personally have been responding to you for YEARS, ATA, along side many others. Theres a good handful of us who are very throughout in the feedback we give. We go in depth with it and give you all the tools possible to do right by your community. And you keep not listening to us and introducing paywalls then say "Hope you like this! Hope you thought it was fun!" Its not. And its not fun to keep having to have this conversation. My app is litterally crashing and burning my phone, I have and keep sending you help tickets with screen recordings and have made sure everything on my end is up to date. You cant even keep things running smoothly for your players to engage in this content but you want us to just open our wallets for you all willy nilly? Fix your app, and fix whoever thinks just pushing out content while neglecting the rest is the way to go. My people have joked that my game is so buggy as retaliation for me coming into fourms and bashing these horrible choices of yours but it ain't stopping me 🗣 start genuinely considering your playerbase and not just how to line your pockets.
Immediately cancelled my membership after seeing this. Which mind you I just signed up for. There are many of us who spend more than we should to play this game and if anything you should be making it more affordable. Maybe if it was, more people would play and spend money. Instead you will lose players. This is the one thing I spend stupid money on in a difficult economy and I will not be spending anymore money if the game keeps going in this direction.
Didn’t like how complicated this was made to just get avi’s and furni, but liked one of the Avis so was gonna consider going for just one. Resold the boxes back after seeing the mod response to a player. Won’t be participating or spending

Since I didn’t think that would happen and that she should reconsider rereading before posting so publicly. But it’s far from an apology, she made an “effort”, a poorly executed one. And then she made it even worse with what she posted in the campus chat. So the little respect I had, is lost. 🙂
