This SP was made for more hardcore players in mind, like anyone whoās on the t100 leaderboard. It was definitely not made for the majority of players. Part of me thinks they only do the new weekly segment releases bc they want to see how fast those on the leaderboard finish it so they can up the point requirements accordingly to make it more challenging for them. Thatās why the max limit to ec items is higher than max limit for timer boxes, bc theyāre more than likely not gonna waste their time on those. Also ngl if they were release this without the having players wait for the new segment weekly, this story pass may be good; but only if they keep the old SP as an option for the average player. They couldāve made VIP and/or VIP+ avis an option if you buy this SP format, and regular avis for the old format. Bc of ridiculous amount of energy you have to put into getting those points that arenāt drops. I donāt even know if Iāll be able to finish this story pass.
379 points for one week is insane. Itās the equivalent of 19 cats, 64 kinis, 28 dogs, 76 dns or key boxes, or 190 timer boxes. This is only week 9, and things can get even more outrageous. Itās clear that this pass is designed to be impossible (or at least insanely difficult) to complete without spending ec items. This is definitely a strange place for ATA to give F2P players the middle finger, since story passes arenāt exactly free to begin with! It gets disgusting when you consider that every previous pass had free options, e.g. adding people, gifting, and pvp, to advance the story. Even then, the entirety of the ec routes for previous passes were easier than a single week of this pass, since you didnāt have to be the dropper in ec parties in the previous ones. Itās honestly impressive how they turned a paid experience into an obscene cash grab. Iāve already burnt through a huge stash of spins and speedups and canāt be bothered to keep going, so Iām tapping out after this week. If this is the format for future story passes, then this is probably the last one Iāll ever buy.
