  1. Finish adding 2nd dorm room. Already working on upgrading new furni for new dorm but the dorm isn't here yet. I want to reach 300%/300% + dorm stats but new dorm still not here ? When is the 2nd dorm room coming?. We want challenge even 50mcs players have maxed out dorm now

  2. So my club still has the party running, but thoughts as I go. I want to reiterate the 60 keys is a nightmare for a potd/ppotd club now that I've gone through that part. No amount of pre planning can get us to have over half of our members on within a reasonable time frame to drop keys. Especially with different timezones and having players from all around the world.

I the future if this party comes back either temporarily or permanently, please lower the keys from 60 to a more realistic amount for potd/ppotd clubs or make it so that players can have even 2 keys to earn and be dropped to help out with the timezone differences.

  3. Do we have a patch notes or something? I want to applaud the skip button on hunt and timer boxes and speed boxes πŸ‘πŸ» what else changed aside from adding this party trial? πŸ€”

  4. Hopefully it does not get implemented cause it was a chaos(with the keys, getting the light on and being clueless at the end/waiting for the party to end)but it's a great experience I guess with the *new* party overall I would say chaos but fun.

  5. With the new party some things to keep in mind are you need over 100m in stats just to hit the first bar. After that I was able to hit with a 20k alt.

Once you use "drop the bass" you personally have 5 minutes to dn to your hearts content.

Anyone seems to be able to turn the lights on though which did end up cutting the party short on my main.

Basically a single party needs to be ran like a flash where one person ensures the first bar can be done, they would have to be able to buy the keys and sell spots, and that same person should also be in charge of turning on the lights. I don't think I'll ever pay for this party which is clearly what Ata wants and seeing as even after getting cut short I collected almost 4k drops, this will break the game for paying players so it's just a bad idea in general to implement this long term. I highly doubt the players get a say here though. It's their idea and most of them don't play the game. They just want the extra money. πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ

  6. Those max drops appear to be from people who have VIP. I think it's like 3620 or 3720 without the VIP stuff

  7. Also I wanted to add that I think with some tweaks that others have mentioned this could work out ok.
I just wanted to say though - if it will continue to drop decor boxes, can they change every week or every hunt? πŸ‘€ I think it'll get really old really fast just to have the chance at the same furniture every single time you run it.

  9. Anyone doing this party?

  10. I have recently completed this party and overall, I feel like this party is only good for the drops. This post will be a little long so bare with me, but here's my reasoning:

β€’Keys: As many have stated, 60 keys is too many for one party. For the trial run event in the club I went to, people had canceled last minute or didn't show up, causing the host to have to find back up keys. *I feel it will be difficult for regular clubs to do this party because they won't have enough members at any given time to drop the keys.

β€’Dance buff & Light's On item: For the Dance buff, this one is partly on each individual person. Some people don't really read about what they're doing before they claim stuff. I think only having once chance for this buff is a disadvantage for that reason. My club had a small issue with the "Light's On" item due to someone starting their dance buff after the designated person. It made things a little chaotic at the end for sure. *A small change that could help benefit the lack of confusion of these items, put them in their respective spots in JD's party store. No one can accidentally claim before they're supposed to that way.

β€’Cash payout: With wild amp used on party, gold sub, & CP- I only made about 1.3T total.
When I solo a dog with same items used, I make about 8-10T. I'm willing to spend the ecs or bentos to make the most cash possible, it's feels like less of a dn waste.

β€’Furniture decor box: I love the idea of a furni box that everyone will be able to open. However, I feel that the Parisan furni box is not a good choice option. There are some popular options that could be used as good alternativesπŸ–€

β€’Plunder bonus: For the 20% plunder bonus, I don't feel like I really saw a difference on the Dog Star donos that were held afterwards. I'm not sure how that plunder is implemented.

β€’Drops: I feel like the drops boost for this party is really good. Many of us players work a lot during the week, so we tend to miss quite a few parties. With the base drops being 3,720, it helps make up for those parties you end up missing. Total drops for me with gold sub: No Cats Signs 3,720+930 bonus, & Cat Chaos(side story) 600+150 bonus.

So overall, it's understandable why this is made to be a once per week type of party. I don't feel it's a party that you'd need to burn dns on. Next time, I'll just be starting to test & find my # of hits for max drops.

  11. Yes, 60 keys is too much to get. In a very active club, 60 people comes online in 2-3 hours of time. So people need to wait for 2-3 hours for party to start for hitting. Secondly, bass time limit on 5 mins , is too low. Infact there should not been a time limit on bass. Thirdly, lights work only if bass is running by the same player. Though this make this issue complicated and mess since most of people out of bass their time at the later end of the party. Let's not complicate things up, rather simplify it. Please make it less engaging. Otherwise these is so much waste of time.

  12. 🏰 Mayhem Mansion Review 🏰

Get ready for a long one yall, I had to open a notepad for everything I have to say. πŸ§™πŸΌβ€β™€οΈ

ATA please refer to all my previous posts before this trial was released, especially the one at the bottom of page 8.

Lets start with introductions; Occult is a 25mcs+ p/potd club. We have quite a few larger members (100+mcs) in our club and scheduled via admin chat & club announcement to trial this party, initating @5:30pm CST today Thirsday Nov 7th. Our members are primarily active during the daytime in North America although we do run 24/7 parties. This was the best window for us to participate in.

Already I have issues here. Firstly this trial was scheduled on a Thursday when the majority of people still have work/school the next day; which means less availability from people in general as they are more likely to flex their bedtime schedule when they don't have obligations the next morning. If everyone works the "typical" 9am-5pm workday we are already stuttering the window for this party across timezones. Nevermind the clubbies who are offline at that hour, and don't have more than half the club active and online during their timezone to ever have a chance to participate without club hopping.

I had full intentions of being here to oversee the entire thing not only to participate, but to provide first hand feedback as well as being able to consider how we may schedule this at Occult once it is an official feature. I had every intention. But life came at me, refer to my post on page 8, and I was unable to do so. I am extremely grateful to the amazing admins I have who took over as club chats navigator in my absence and reported to our admin chat how things progressed. πŸ’œ And while I was off attending to life I was stressed for them. Over pixels and the chaos that accompanies this party. I only had time to actually be here on this game towards the tail end of things and I am not impressed.

It took 1 hour for us to gather enough members to drop keys to even activate this party. So that's a 1h15 startup time before our members can even hit. Some of them dropped a key and then had their own life to attend to that they never even had the chance to hit the party. This isn't like an ec party where anyone might have one to drop at any time. The availability alone based on timezones is so unfair to your playerbase.

Once we started the flirt bar people's main accounts around ~40mcs were failing to hit, and those around ~75mcs were struggling, alternating lands/fails. Despite this bar being for the larger stats to have to "unlock" so smaller players can also participate it was blown past in under a minute. 1h15mins of waiting just to not even have the opportunity to fully unload if you aren't staring to see how things are progressing. This is ridiculous.

The next Vibe bar only took 20 minutes or so to complete.πŸ§β€β™€οΈ Another 20 minutes after that is when I signed on, and I suspect that is largely due to my darlings holding out for me to be the one to turn on the lights and have a chance to get my hands in here. After confirmation everyone in chat was waiting on me the 5 minutes of "Dropping the Bass" was disappointingly fueled by DNs and the cash was far less than your hype had me expecting it to be. Not only that, but being unable to turn on the lights after the "drop the bass" 5 minutes has elapsed means I had to use my alt holding the club to quickly go through those motions to ensure party completion. That is a horrible set up for a club to complete a party without failing or scrambling to find someone who had not yet activated the drop the bass buff. Hell some people activated it long before the party even started and we're unable to even participate on this bar.

Once the lights were "turned on" the last bar was done and gone in the blink of an eye.

More time was spent on this party waiting to be able to hit than was spent hitting it. As a p/potd club that's crietera we look at when deciding to run a PRO party over a regular party. There is so much left wanting here. There's no reason us as players should have to consider removing our avis/dorms/misc in order to give this party better pacing for our other clubmates.

I personally only had the opportunity to use ~5 dns and my total cash only moved about 1T. The average cash payout in the club was less than that. This feels disappointing and disproportional.

By contrast 3720 main story drops and 600 side story drops felt like the huge plunder you advertised.
Lets do some math here! POTD pays out 126 main // 28 side drops and PPOTD 245 main // 49 side drops.

So we would need ~30 regular parties or ~15 pro parties completed just to achieve the same goal. Time vs story rewards here are stupendous. With a payout like that I 100% understand why you intend for this to not be an every day party. The decore box was a lovely surprise, I hope to see which one awards alternate as time moves forward.

The set up for this and the party speed I think is quite terrible as it stands. The drop the bass buff and turn the lights on drop are chaotic and will lead to outrage when used incorrectly for a "once a week maximum" party. Cash isn't great, but the drops and special rewards give this great potential.

See my post at the bottom of page 8. The current state of this party is for it to be geared towards event clubs ahead of their regularly scheduled event. It feels like crumbs as a p/potd club where people aren't litterally paying to be.

I did not have the opportunity to check how this stacks with amps/jets, but am pleased to see VIP stacks on top of the rewards.

    Here are my suggestions:

Reduce the amount of keys needed. This needs to be made accessible across all timezones if you want the majority of p/potd clubs to implement it in a fair manner. I suggest ~ 30 keys. Limit them to 1 per showcase per week if need be. I am not at all opposed to them being awarded with the daily xc depending on how that is structured.

Alternatively award the club president 2-3 keys a week and drop the requirement needed to start down to 1 key. Let the president distribute the keys to their admins according to what they think works best for their club.

If you're worried about this party becoming the only party people want to run, limit it to only being able to be activated within a Club 2x a week or something. Don't have us abandon our clubbies with different schedules over this concern.

Increase the hits required to complete this party. We should be spending more time taptaping away than what we do sitting and waiting to be able to do so. I like the idea of the larger members having to "unlock" a bar to help the smaller members, but still don't feel it's fair.

Perhaps have 2 bars needing completion to "unlock" the rest of the party. That way big stats and low stats can hit at the same time towards a similar goal.

Increase the duration of the "drop the bass" buff. 5 minutes is not enough. If the trade off for 10 minutes is requiring to spend dns for that cash payout let us decide if it's worth it.
Alternatively keep the 5 minutes, and increase the cash payout. Also please keep this buff out of Molly's. Put it beside the carepack in the store or something. Put it as a hidden item except for during this specific party next to the attack pots that can only be activated once per party.

Turn on the lights needs a revamp. It should absoloutly be accessible to admins only. I loathe the idea of a drop needed to end a party. I detest it being hinged on use while "drop the bass" buff is active. That needs to be removed immediately. We should not be paying that close of attention to the clock on this game. Also move this out of Molly's.

Increase the hits needed for last bar and include a purple club announcement when the "turn on the lights" drop is activated.

Yall did something here. It is new, it is exciting, it is accessible to your free to play playerbase and encourages members of all stats to come together. I see how the structure of this is meant to alienate the bot alt accounts from capitalizing on this and further decaying the market and community. I'm in full support of this approach, but please do not wrap it up like this and say that's good enough, there are serious considerations here and changes need to be made.

    TLDR

    β€’ Horrid structure
    β€’ Litterally work to organize
β€’ Target audience unclear (currently event club leaning / home club events only for the high traffic timezones)
    β€’ Good potential
    β€’ Good drops
β€’ Meh cash payout to dn usage

You wanted feedback, I gave it. I spent hours writing this. I love to see ATA in the fourms communicating with us. We hear you, do you hear us?

  13. My Mayhem Madness Testing Experience:

The club hosting the party test I participated in hard a hard time finding enough people online to drop keys, possibly due to other party test sessions happening at the same time. Were we only allowed one key at max to test??? Such appeared to be the case and limited number of potential key droppers to save time. Idk how long the party test club was posting for keys before I joined, but iirc they were half an hour in with about 15 keys dropped before I dropped. I may be mistaken in how much of the party time had already progressed when I joined the party as I actually thought Mayhem Madness would be an 8 hr party or something; at least 6 was my expectation based on assuming similarity to stronger invite parties. The rest of the keys did drop within the next 15 minutes or so which feels awfully long when you’ve already dropped but don’t want to risk missing the party by going offline. (Someone there had stated a prior party test took only 40min). Flirt bar went fast despite there only being about a dozen ppl 100mcs+. I actually didn’t even seeing this bar being hit as I was reviewing party instructions on this thread during this time. This post had given me an impression that this bar would take longer, so I’m relieved about the flirt bar speed so that I didn’t really have to wait to hit the other bars as I’m only 24.7mcs. I used a regen on the Vibe bar and, when the Vibe bar finished, I discussed with other party testers to determine whether this was now the point to claim/activate bass. My party display shows the bars out of order instead of in the order they are done, so this was perplexing (I did this party test on iOS and I play on my Android more often which tends to show party bars in the order they are required to be hit for parties associated with allowed/required/passing bar hit orders). Some party testers were reasonably confused on why the Drop the Bass bar wasn’t moving when they tried to hit. Many had claimed it hours prior not knowing claiming it in Molly’s would activate it. I had this issue when it came to the tricky treat boost during its Halloween event, so I was cautious and avoided that mistake this round. Instructions on it ought to specify that claiming it equals activating it. To paraphrase, it currently says β€œdon’t activate it until Drop the Bass”, so it’s easy to claim thinking it’s an object to drop similar to the key under Item during the party. I activated a care pack at this point then claimed/activated my bass. My Drop the Bass bar was still empty, so I questioned whether I claimed/activated my Bass too soon. While it still appeared empty, I used a second regen on the Dance bar and was able to hit. After a minute or so, my Drop the Bass bar finally filled instantly as if I had only just activated my Bass. I checked when I activated my care pack in my notifs as it was the only reference I had relatively to when I activated my Bass. I let the party test crew know I had 2min left on my bass and asked if anyone else had more time on their bass. Someone volunteered to turn on the lights, so I used a dn that moment figuring I had at least two minutes before they would do so. I ended up only getting a few hits of it in since that person ended the party then and there. Perhaps they had less time than me left on their bass boost and didn’t want to pass that designation to an unknown person. Some fellow party testers also seem surprised/disappointed at the unannounced timing of the end. Overall, I was relieved the stress was over. Anyhoo, a posted clarification to be stated for the strategy for the lights on person/party ender to have the most time left on their boost (but will be online obviously) to allow ppl to hit Dance as much as possible would be nice. Let’s let the community determine whether such is needed or whether it is simply an education issue to be resolved over time and experience with this new party. Disclaimer: I used an unload and my first free regen on a potd prior to joining this party test. I got 3720 main story drops and 600 side story drops from Madness Mayhem.

    Summary:

Took long for all keys to be dropped
Fast Flirt bar only needing a dozen 100mcs+
Confusion on Bass activation prevented many from being able to hit Dance
Possible misinterpretation led to early party end
I used two regens plus a few hits
3720 main and 600 side story drops

    Possible Improvements:

Definitely need more notifs: Drop key notifs in club chat, bass boost start notif like with care pack, current bass boost in profile countdown again like with care pack, and hopefully a notif for bar change to Bass or Dance in club chat like with multi page parties.

    Key requirement reduction:
Dropping keys was a lengthy enough process for an open party test. For a potd/ppotd club, 60 is simply not reasonable/practical. Maybe 30? I would expect 100mcs players to be pretty active, but 30 still sounds like a lot of ppl to gain at once. I haven’t hit many ppotd aside from lbhs since free regens came out, but if I had to guessestimate, I would say out of 25 people hitting a ppotd, maybe 7 of them use all free regens. So with parties relying on hitters continuing unloading, the one key factor was very restrictive on getting the party going for that demographic of people this was supposedly targeted towards. At least with invites, hitters could have multiple and push it forward. On earning keys not that many people actively make sure to earn a Daily XC coin by speeding timers and upgrading furn(still needing open multiple speed up bags option) but may still be extremely active.

On beta tests in the future, I think an unlimited capacity to test would be the best scenario so as to solve the most problems as quickly as possible. Each player(or should I say account) essentially had just one shot to test and give feedback for this party test. If keys realllllly had to be limited, what about the number of keys that correspond to earned daily xc coins from that same day of Oct 30th on? The opportunity for each player to test up to 7 times could have generated much knowledge for your use!

  14. I liked it. It could use some tweaking but it could go smoothly for everyone with some adjustments.

    Seriously and Fobia like this.
  15. I ruminated over this for quite a while before writing this up and essentially it boils down to two things for me. This party has potential. It definitely has its issues and things that need to be fixed, but once that's done I could see it being a party that's run once or twice a week.

    That being said...

The time spent =/= the effort put in currently.

Coordinating with people to drop their keys was a nightmare considering the limited number of keys available. I'm unsure if anyone actually bought the keys people were trying to sell, but honestly that's such a disappointment with this community to prioritize 'profit' over a testing experience that would benefit everyone. It took well over an hour to get everyone into a club to drop keys, partially due to competition from other clubs testing at the same time, and partially from people unwilling to participate for free. There were also a ton of people who aren't quite active enough to completely finish daily XC to get a key, which would be fine once the process is refined, but it was a bad decision to limit who got keys for your testing period.

A problem I personally ran into was being in an EC club that wasn't testing, meaning I had to find an entirely new club to join simply for this, and the clubs hosting aren't empty clubs. So you're already looking to join a club that has around 60 people, 25%-75% aren't active at the same time so they had to actually kick out their full time club members to allow people with keys to come in and do this party. Whether that's a planning problem on the clubs end or a structuring issue for the party is up for interpretation.

Another issue that came up was doing this as a "natural" or unbooked party meant that we severely lacked in players over 70mcs, for the majority of the dropped keys up until about 45/60 there were only 3 people in the club who could even hit the first bar, and many of the club members and key droppers hadn't realized that they were too small to hit right away, which meant we needed to actually clear out room for larger players to come in and hit that bar, meaning smaller players were shoved to the side/removed when needed.

Again, this point may be an issue with the party or perhaps the club as I'm not sure if others shared this experience or not, but not everyone understood the party. I had to explain numerous times about what the buff was, the stat limits for the first bar, the lights on ending the bar, assigning a set person to that, ensuring no one else used it, and also when to use the buff. It took an incredibly long time for people to understand and even then people still used their buff too early or didn't use it and tried to hit the bass bar. I should not have had to explain that, but had I not, the party would not have functioned properly or someone would've used the lights on boost and everyone including myself would've been shorted the entire experience.

Please lower the amount of keys needed.

  16. Most clubs can't even run this party. Its ridiculous. Consider the trial run a fail and do not launch this stupid party. We really do not need it. Rather come up with a less complicated party which is possible for everyone to rub. This must be the stupidest thing ATA have ever done.

  20. Hmm..I thought that it’s not just your dormmates that matter? Could ATA iron it out more clearly? Some people be saying they’re xxx stats but can’t hit, what amount of misc, dorm, pets, rs, bonuses do we need to hit? A combined rough range would be great.

Also, someone said there’s 50mcs with maxed dorms. I hardly find players with lvl 20 999s at that stat πŸ‘€ 2nd dorm room is definitely nice to have. Are there many players with all maxed out furni?
