New Dormtower Upgrade Calculation Guide (2026)

Hi, This is not a 100% accurate calculation. These are approximate calculations based on the information currently available. The actual numbers may vary slightly, but they should be very close to the figures shown below.

I’m not going for a complete tier-by-tier guide yet because I haven’t received the update myself. However, this should be useful for players ranging roughly from 20 MCS to 250 MCS. Players beyond that point are probably experienced enough to do the math themselves… I believe in you.

Assumptions:
55 Dorms are unlocked till 100T refund.
60 Dorms are unlocked for the rest .
10% of your cash in hand is kept aside for extra tutors.
The upgrade system is designed with a long-term focus.
You may gain slightly more stats by going with an all-T8 combination, but that isn’t the most future-focused approach. Eventually, the fun at T8 ends and the senior upgrading starts at T9.

My main goal here is to help players reach at least around 150 MCS+, which should put them in a better position to get higher payouts from parties.

However, remember that the upgrading system does not work the same way it did before.

Important Rules:
• Strictly do NOT skip tiers.
• Max out a tier before replacing it with the next tier.
• I have not included the dorm rent cost in the calculations below. So make sure you take the dorm rental cost into consideration before deciding how much cash you actually have available for upgrades.
• The dorm rental costs are:
41st Dorm Room: 279b
42nd Dorm Room: 350b
43rd Dorm Room: 438b
44th Dorm Room: 545b
45th Dorm Room: 674b
46th Dorm Room: 831b
47th Dorm Room: 1.02t
48th Dorm Room: 1.24t
49th Dorm Room: 1.51t
50th Dorm Room: 1.83t
51st Dorm Room: 2.2t
52nd Dorm Room: 2.6t
53rd Dorm Room: 3.1t
54th Dorm Room: 3.8t
55th Dorm Room: 4.5t

Please remember that these dorm costs are separate from the upgrade calculations. The higher your dorm count, the more important it becomes to account for the rent before spending your available cash on upgrades.

The combinations below are based on the "refunds" you receive, which I believe should be among the better options for long-term progression.

These are still approximate calculations, so your actual numbers may vary slightly.
And of course, you can always choose to follow your own path if you have a different strategy that works better for you.
