PART I: Soak It In or "SII" XCs Throughout the Soak It In event, you’ll take part in sixteen 6-hour competitions that will give you progress in the Soak It In XC. PLEASE NOTE These competitions will rotate, and each day's rotation will be different than the previous day's schedule. These XCs will be running from 12 PM Pacific Time on August 13th to 12 PM Pacific Time on August 17th. SII: Mandarin Mania HINT: This kind of XC is one you have seen before in previous versions of this event This XC will involve collecting Fresh Mandarins that drop from POTDs, PPOTDs, Pizza, Cat, Dog and Invite Parties Fresh Mandarins will only be dropping from the parties above when SII: Mandarin Mania XCs are ongoing It is important to remember that you finish your parties before the XC period ends with at least a 5-minute buffer to ensure that the party completion rewards are administered and counted before the XC ends Fresh Mandarin SII: Capy Cache HINT: Time to grab few new things for the pool, start by opening various kinds of boxes and capsules! SII: Bara Builder HINT: A good hot tub requires consistent upkeep and upgrades, so perhaps focus on recycling and upgrading furniture? SII: River Rivals HINT: What's a spa without some drama? Part II: Soak It In XC This is the main leaderboard running throughout this event. Soak It In XC rewards will be available to be claimed 30 MINUTES AFTER the last scheduled SII XC concludes. HOW IT WORKS How many Golden Mandarins you've earned from each SII XC will determine your placement on the Soak It In XC. Golden Mandarin Make sure to claim your ranked rewards from each Mandarin Mania, Capy Cache, Bara Builder, River Rival XC to secure your Golden Mandarins and progress in time! Absolutely not a fan of this format. Some people don’t like the PvP part of the game and imagine being a lower player trying to save up money and getting it taken because we are being forced to hit each other
Capybara is such a cute theme. Now for the format. I’ll have to reread and set alarms if I ever opt-in. at least , it’s not in the middle of the week for several players (who may or may not access the forum) . But, I’m concern if there’s lack of support during weekend (PDT - Saturday/ Sunday) as there’s been over 2 years a change in the help ticket center for response during weekend.

I’m so sorry to be this person, but I don’t like the current format. As a paying player I honestly felt it was easier and cheaper to only gain rewards through the community parties. Everything felt overall smoother and it was easier to plan around. Now please note, I never competed for anything above t500 or whatever it was (the tier under the animal avatars). With the current style, I struggled to place last time and had to go out of my way to be awake to place or complete the xc leaderboard. I shouldn’t have to lose sleep over a vip version of a free avatar if I’m not even competing for the tradeable avatar in the top tiers. The battlepass format was messed with and I respect it, but this is over-the-top. Tldr: not a fan. the current format takes more time, money, and energy.
Whoever thought of naming one of the XC “Bara Builder”…all I’ll say is I don’t think of capybaras when I hear that. 🤭

I personally love that more than just party elements are included (ex recycling furniture / opening boxes)! And I like the rotating format. Thank you for moving it to the weekend so more players can participate. The capybara misc is adorable. 🥰 Two things I didn’t like last time that I still don’t like this time: - in former events where pvp was used to get “drops” players didn’t have cash taken… is this something that can be adjusted that during the pvp portion no cash is taken/earned? - successful defends should definitely be worth more than 1 point. Why is it so low? 50 points? Even 25 points would make more sense.
I wish this was all one XC that ran simultaneously instead of rotating XCs. Wish there had been some adjustments made based on feedback from the previous iteration of this format.
Who ever is in charge of event decisions like these really need to be fired. MOST players HATED last event. And what do you guys do? Do it again????? Seriously. You guys are just laughing at us at this point. Keep saying ya'll want feedback for stuff but in reality don't give a single F.
Love the capybara misc and furni; not a big fan of the avatars but they're still cool! As for the format, I honestly can't remember what I thought of it last time, but I know I'm liking it right now? So yeah.
The only people who benefit from this are Farmers and Paying Players. Even some of the paying players hate this format. Someone who’s 1mcs and living paycheck to paycheck can’t participate because of the sheer amount of time and money that needs to be spent in order to even place in T2500. Get a grip ATA.
