Correct and you would think they would actually try and work towards keeping kids off this app, not reduce the age restrictions and then say that they are trying to keep them off game with Age Verification. Said age verification is a spinny wheel you select your age, it even says you will have game restrictions if your not the required age so of course kids will select an age over 18yo. Its been setup as a way to actively onboard fresh accounts and in no way protects any child. Also add in that they will now be target advertised so bringing alot more on game that would have ever actually known about the app. Add me on game for SS of said "Age restriction" software they are using or lack there of.
I can testify I have seen the screenshots and videos taken of the age verification, the restricted version of PIMD, and all the bugs it contains such as loopholes for adults contacting minors, sexually-charged stat items still visible, and more. I hope ATA promptly works on getting the issues with restricted PIMD fixed.
im not saying let the kids onto the 18+ version nor give them their own chat, just like… whats the point? on a game thats mostly trading and interacting with other players, why open the doors to them at all? they're just going to delete it and restart with a new age knowing its just a slider

I’m not entirely sure😅 maybe? Because they pop up a lot on my socials one mainly being TikTok and it’s quite literally a family and then one was like Episode (idk if you’ve heard of that game) but it’s like a story interactive game and I’m like umm that’s not how the game is😭
Yehh i have no idea why thats become a trend with phone games. I remember when false advertising was illegal. Dont know why ao many people accept it now. And why phone game devs have so little faith in their own product that they dont feel like they can advertise it for what it actually is

I mean there are some fuckn mega smart kids who go to college early even younger then 12. But its very rare and different brain wiring that makes them so smart. That age for a game tho is a choice made and cant be compared coz a 12+ game is accessible by all not just a very rare minority. Which pushes your point more tbh

Can I say that adults are in danger too? Why nobody is talking about that? Let's not keep lying to ourselves. All these restrictions won't deter minors. They'll just encourage them to lie about their age, even if only out of curiosity and to see what the game is like. And, lying about your age isn't even that difficult, because there are children who play and spend on their parents' card games, so they have a card linked to their other accounts on various devices, for example. And we all know this because I think it's clear to everyone that, in other games, there are a lot of kids buying resources and skins. This means that, without our knowledge, we could come into contact with minors against our will, with all the risks that this entails. Not to mention that the social side of PIMD doesn't end on the app. We know it and the devs know it. The game itself has an official server on Discord. Most of us play games to escape from real life, to relax. Instead, from now on, we also have to be anxious about playing and talking on PIMD, or even start trades, because we could find ourselves talking to a minor, against our will.
So just dont sext them or send them nudes? Its only a danger to you if you are a pedophile trying to not get caught. Theres already kids on this game. Only difference is they are more likely to be on here now with the rating change. Nothing wrong with trading game items with them just like any other player.
I used to never see them but this recent round of adverts I've been getting recently on YouTube shorts. Otherwise I only ever heard about them thru the grapevine.

Day 2 of Devs being handed all my information on how Adults can still find and open conversations with 12yo kids and nothing's been done. IF they were really worried about kids they way they are making out then this issue would have been fixed immediately or tbh should have never existed because it should have been patched before allowing kids through the door 🤷🏼♂️ ATA just gotta keep dat money printer going somehow
Putting the age raiting down to 12+ to get more adults in the game was stupid as f*ck, and honestly im shocked and disgusted at the fact that you've now turned your game raiting to 12+. As someone stated kids can still engage with adults. So what was really the point in putting it down to 12+? I feel like you no longer care for your player base, and become so greedy to a point that you will allow children on your game. They will be finding ways to avoid the restrictions, honestly I am sick that pimd would change its raiting so low, such bs to stay that they do it so kids wont play, now a majority of children will be downloading pimd. I will no way in hell be sending any id verification either, yall dont need that. Parents also have a duty to make sure their kids are safe on the net, seeing this game being rated at 12+ they will think its safe, this game is a charge waiting to happen lol
