I i did get scammed. I tried asking for trade back with the seller. And they refused to give back the bentos. Please fix this ATA
And and what are we supposed to do with multiple of those items? I purchased mine for recycling (after checking if they can be dismantled) and now i have a lot of it and nothing to do about it. Fix it. Thank you
I agree with this. With it being recyclable at first, people already bought lots but didn’t have time to recycle yet thinking they have time to do it later. Then now you can no longer recycle them, people wasted bentos. Changing it to not being able to recycle now cost a lot of people a lot of bentos. Should have left it as it.
What was the actual point of changing it? If you had this concern, you should have fixed immediately when the poster was tradable and recyclable, now people who are not aware are getting scammed for bentos. Thanks ATA, we love your thought processes in making these rush decisions!
Right? They had a lot of time to do it after the poster. But no, they decided to fix it after people had already spent bentos. 🤦♀️
And scammers are still trying to fool people into buying for OP. Some people are sleeping or working when this update was made and not aware. Now there's nothing they can do but sit with items which is useless. Hai shame ATA you are wrong for doing this to us.
It doesn't make sense why you would change items and not make it recyclable. We have invested already because it could be recycled and now we lose out because you failed to correct your mistakes earlier. Please change it back to the way it was and allow us to recycle our items as we paid a lot for these!
Your decision doesn't make sense tbh. The item being recycling or tradable didn't effect gameplay and it helped many of us to upgrade our items at a lower cost. So sad you would do to us 😔.
This seems rather unnecessary to spring something like this on us. We bought many of the pride items because it can be recycled only for you to backtrack and change your mind? This is isn't fair to us. Please fix this issue !!
FIX THIS EITHER MAKE IT RECYCLABLE AGAIN AND NOT TRADEABLE OR EXCHANGE THE ONES WE ALReady bought for recycle parts!
This is completely unfair. You can't just change an items description and use a week after its introduced. I have spent all my bentos collecting these pieces and now they are basically worthless. There has to be compensation
This is an awful decision to make, so far into the event, people have spent hundreds of bentos buying beds & 499s with the understanding that they would be able to recycle them. You're not punishing the people who abuse alts, or bot here, you're punishing the people who have already bought them. "If you accumulated extra copies, you get to keep them!" You make this sound so generous, but what exactly do you expect they'll do with all the furniture they have earned or bought? This is another, truly awful hit to your community.
The correct fix would have been to leave them recyclable and turn off the trading/gifting for them. People wouldn’t be still getting scammed for bentos for non-recyclable furni and the bot farm alt clubs would have been just stuck with them. Event furniture should be useful for people that earn it, not an asset that can be abused by the alts and resellers. Suggest in the future to make event furniture fully recyclable and upgradable, but no trading allowed.
Event was a fun concept and it really brought the community together however there is a big issue I think we are not thinking about . The free furniture regardless of intention they were nice to have and a lot of us realized they could be recycled. However to suddenly remove the feature has harmed us the normal players. Those who used alts to get them are fine they already sold for bentos etc but us the normal players who spent our bentos are stuck with it as trash when we saw our friends upgrade with this. In the end the choice to do this has harmed only the normal players. I propose 2 solutions make them recyclable at lvl 2 like previous years Or make them untradable and recyclable
Making this a game-wide campus reward where every acc that hits parties can receive the furni clearly makes it prone to abuse by alts. This was easily foreseen as alt farms have been a known and ongoing issue that ATA has been trying to deal with for years, so the issue is preventative. Players should not have to suffer loss as a result of ATA’s misleading lack of decisiveness on the recycle/upgrade mechanisms. Either KEEP it recyclable the whole way, or make it unrecyclable from the start. Don’t leave it recyclable for a few days and mislead players into purchasing in bulk, only just to sneakily change the mechanics a few days later. Even just a pop-up warning “PRIDE FURNI UNTRADEABLE NOW, RECYCLE WHILE YOU CAN” when opening the game would’ve been good, not just an update on an old forum post. People are STILL buying the furni on campus, not knowing it’s non-recyclable. The people who ATA seeks to punish have now profited thousands of bentos on untraceable throwaway alts, while active, real players who only wish to play the game and progress, are left reeling from the loss on their mains that they have invested heavily into. This sucks, please fix/compensate asap.
ata should just ban those accounts who abuse creating accounts. this is against terms of use yet ata lets those abusing people go and do unlimited accounts. get those furniture and sell it. benefiting with huge amount of bentos yet put the blame on people who paid hard earnt bentos through spending real money on dns. ecs or whatever in game and make the furniture suddenly non recyclable so those who spent suffer the loss and bear that burden just because ata cant handle abusing accounts. good move
