I collected both male avis because I accidentally bought the male as well. You can't get the female activator.

Thats pretty lame, people should be able to collect both avatars if they want to. Also ditto on old avis being brought back, i get this is a solution to those who want to trade avatars without having to rework and recode the whole game but, i hate it lol its lazy.

 

You can actually sell the activator and Purchase the other and do it again 🫣 that’s what I did…

 

You can also just trade the shards. For example, If you have onyx shards (M), you can trade them with someone else who has opal shards (F).

 

(Firstly - don’t hate me if any of this doesn’t come out sounding correct; I’m doing my best to type all this with respect and not make anyone uncomfortable with my words in this - I’m PALE as heck! Bear with me please cause I’m truly trying to sound as respectful and kind as possible!)

Several things about this post and event stuff…. I don’t mind the shards ones but the older “throwbacks” on these? Coulda been better or more newer ones to be earned!

Also - all the “dark” skin tones are too similar or exactly the same shade… let’s have justice for all shades of dark skin hotties! There’s some darker and some lighter shades too that could serve ✨SLAY✨ vibes that aren’t all the same… yes there’s a few out there in the game like this, but let’s give more options for those!

 

The events always say this, but just “sell” the activator back to the shop and buy the other one! That’s what a lot of us do! 🥹👍💕

 

How do we address this? I was aiming for the VIP avatar too

 

Why mine doesnt activate? I got 400 opal shards as a gift and when I bought the activator, nothing happened huhu

 

You buy them in the monthly section of the shop

 

Did it there. Restarted the game and it also doesnt activate still 😤

 

Have you tried to sell the activator and purchase it again ?
I don’t know if you accept the shards after purchasing the activator and that could lead to a glitch.

 

Been playing 13 years have yet to see a good BHM , Could atleast give us a male and female avatar worthy of hunt leaderboard avatars 🙄

 

We’re never gonna get anything good I noticed it a few years into playing the game

 

I, yesterday, was able to start collecting masc after I collected all the fem by selling the fem activator and purchasing the masc. Again, though, like other users pointed out, you can also get the shards off another player (I've come across some giving away for free). Just confirming it is possible!

 

Ty for saying this. It always feels like BHM avis are an afterthought — no thought put into it — why is it always jazz or Afrocentric themed? Why not release them in various, everyday attire/styles? And why must they always be the same shade of melanin? We have just a beautiful range of skin tones and yet, we seem to only get the darkest setting with the lightest clothes. Ugh. It’s 2026, pls do better ATA.
