It was today that she died, because I am fucking excited rn about something only old ladies get excited about~~I purchased a deep freezer for the first time and it's on its way to me through delivery. I got excited about buying my bed if that counts. Was the 1st big thing i got apart from my car. Costed me 1k so it better fúckn last ages 😂 Not buying electrical stuff till im about ready to move into ky own home otherwise it will probly be fuckd before even get to use it. But i own almost a entire house worth of furni now. Got little bits here n there since i started getting money
I recently rebought most of my furniture. a lot of stuff I had before was tolerable, but ultimately cheap and just serving the purpose. I got a prettier TV and a nice kitchen table and couch and prettier lamp~once all the boxes are gone and all the pieces arrive, my home is gonna be so pretty. I miss my desk and coffee table tho (I gave away most of my old stuff cuz I was attempting to rent a room from family, then that fell apart after 2 weeks so I need to refurnish)
Yehh its cool when get to pick your own things. Im only gonna be getting cheap couchs n things like that for a start coz im hoping to build all my own furni

Nahh need to make house 1st priority coz my dad is retiring soon and he has nothing saved up for it coz he hasnt been able to. So need to put house 1st so we at least got a garunteed house over our heads. I worked out that if i stick to a strict budget i can have a deposit saved up in just 5 years and thats on min wage. I just needa get a fuckn job 😩 Getting the rust sorted on my morris is also high priority so that it doesnt spread to more structural areas that will cost me a fuck ton more money to fix. Coz i cant weld so i gotta leave them ones to the pros. I needs get it while it hasnt spread to far yet. The rest idc if it takes ages i already got it in my head from day 1 it gonna take about 10yrs to finish. It just a bonus if i get it finished sooner

My youth was already at low health tbh, this was just the death punch. The deep freeze was overkill tho. Energy star and several hundred. It looks like a cabinet so it's going to double as something I can put stuff on and make things pretty. basically an old lady's dream.
I used to fantasize about how I would get a cell phone as an adult and be able to pull out the antenna when I was kiddo. I thought it looked so cool, but technology quickly overcame that
I’ve always been into stuff that people would joke and call me old. But I don’t think I really felt the mental maturity change until I was pregnant, my best friend was pregnant at the same time. We were at the mall and saw “virginity rocks” tshirts. We thought how funny would it be if we wore these shirts ya know, being pregnant. So we got them, and I remember a group of like middle school-junior high girls like staring and giggling, clearly making fun of how lame we were buying “virginity rocks” T’s, obviously totally missing the irony. And I just remember thinking like.. poor children, they’ll figure it out someday 😂 but since then I’ve finished paying off a car, and my first round of college loans, so it feels more real everyday.
