The alleged $20 bill that was "forged" by George Floyd turned out to be real. Cops were the ones that started the fires. Protests were peaceful until the cops fired first with stun grenade, tear gas, and rubber bullets. Videos are being edited and shown on national news mediums with added gunshot sounds into their clips and "live" feeds. Target refused to sell milk (to reduce the effects of the tear gas), water, hydrogen peroxide, and other supplies to protesters who were hurt by police. There are more police standing outside of Derek Chauvin's house to protect him than help injured citizens right now. Disgusting.
Bruh, I agree completely with everything you are saying. I just know that we are incapable of having a civil discussion on civil rights and politics in forums, and forums traffic is quite low to begin with. When majority of people log on, it's typically to check certain game-related threads. Most people don't venture beyond the basics. You're going to get more of a response posting on actual social media (PIMD is not social media) or even in Campus / Pub rather than forums. But multiple people have tried the latter to no avail. Pub chat was a disaster. Tl;dr - I agree w/ you but PIMD isn't a place to have a mature discussion about race or any sociopolitical topic.
I haven't heard anybody saying the killing was justified. You can't throw rocks at police officers and expect them to come help you at the same time. That'd be suicide. The only "gun shots" I heard were when they set the police station on fire. In case you didn't know... when ammunition is set on fire it explodes. If you believe the police are setting fires to frame you, you'd better gtfo of there not carry on rioting. That's stupid on many levels. Fire spreads, ammunition explodes, buildings fall, and people get arrested and frame as you are infuring. And the fire department isn't coming to save you because people are throwing rocks at them too. It's wise to distance yourself from any such behavior, and only participate in peaceful protests. But hey this is America and I 100% support your right to protest weather I agree with your reasons or not. I'm simply stating that I'd not choose to take part in a protest with such irrational behavior. Who cares if target wasn't selling things? Are your stores seriously fully stocked right now? It's crazy. My grandfather has an oxygen tank because he has stage 4 metastisized lung cancer. Getting him refills of oxygen is super difficult because there are shortages. Of oxygen.
@UrAClown I am speaking out against police brutality on my social media. I just know I'm talking to an empty room on PIMD so I choose to speak out on places where I can properly amplify people of color successfully. I won't waste my time having a discussion on PIMD and will focus my time and energy on platforms where something will be accomplished. It's strategy. Police brutality is a topic very close to my heart because my trauma is related to it. I was lucky I was able to circumvent the repercussions through court because I am a white woman. But I am a victim of it and I take this very seriously.

A police officer has been identified posing as a looter. He was attempting to use an umbrella to conceal his identity from security cameras. I want justice for the innocent people that lost their lives due to the actions of those that were supposed to be protecting it in the first place. Keep on spinning.
