For those who know these characters, cheers to you, mate. ;P this is a certain pairing that I like, personally. ----------------------------------------- Her headphones were trapped in her lovely chocolate brown hair. Her voice rang through the studio as she glanced down at her blood red painted nails. She closed her eyes as her fingers fumbled through the cord, and she gripped onto the microphone. Her voice was somewhat angelic to the others in the lobby. She had a tattoo on her arm, just a simple number. Her beautiful brown hair reached her chin, just maybe a bit lower. A pale complexion is what she saw in the mirror when she woke up everyday. Her red shirt was a button up, and she wore a satin black tie with it. Not one or those cheap clip ons. Over that it was a black dress coat. She didn't wear slacks, just jeans. Nothing to formal for recording. The boy waiting at door was wearing a blue scarf, and his blue tinted hair seemed to shine in the limelight. His smile seemed to charm her, but she pretended like he didn't exist, although, she dreamt about him all night. He wore a light, baby blue dress shirt and a dark, sea blue tie. His eyes seemed to represent a calm ocean as they searched around the room, looking for something to keep his eyes on, other than her. When she finished, her hands were wrapped in cords, and her large, fingerless hand gloves seemed to be in a non-wrinkled state. She pulled her headphones down to her neck. The little red accents matched the crimson color of her shirt. That was her favourite color, red. Not to mention a fan of gore. He was more of a Peace person, he didn't like all the war. But as it said on the title of the song they were singing, Love is War. ------ Just a start of the story. Love is War is not mine, it's is Miku Hatsune's. Meiko, Kaito, Miku, Len, And Rin Are not my characters. ;P
She kept her hands in her pockets, feeling lucky, she walked timidly on the sidewalk. Yellow Brick Street, as she liked to call it. Something good always happened to her, whether it's been finding change or something to make her day better. Little gusts of wind blew in her hair in her face, and she felt little droplets plop on her nose. She chuckled as the guy from earlier, the guy with the ocean blue scarf, ran into a wet telephone pole. He rubbed his head irritatedly, biting his lip. "Gah. . ." She watched from not too far away, turning pink as he finally realized she was watching him with a bright smile on his face. Kaito's Point Of View~ I watched my feet as I walked, I really didn't want to see such a gloomy sky. I sighed, walking on Block Street. Then, out of the blue- THUD!! My head was throbbing and spinning. Her face blew up a light, rosy shade of pink as she stared at me from across the street. I stopped, rubbing my head, moaning in pain. Nice job, Kai. I bit my tongue in pain as I continued to walk, despite my blithering pain that was clawing at my skull. Talk about a 'shoot me' moment. Oh Meiko, my lovely Meiko, wont you be mine? Meiko's Point Of View~ I cautiously walked on the street, my lucky Yellow Brick Street. How I love this place. It's more like a zen garden if I think about it. It's so quiet and peaceful in this street. More like how everything is in sync. People's steps, heartbeats, and voices. Oh how I wish my life was like this street. Just perfectly aligned.
All I have to say is... Amazing. I love the details. And I love the way you describe the characters in the way that they flow with the stay. In my opinion, there is nothing to improve on.
Kaito~ I calmly combed my messy blue hair, wrapping my scarf around my neck. I started laughing as I walked outside, realizing this would have to be the first time this spring I was wearing my scarf at the right time. Once again, the sky is gloomy. But that isn't all, it's raining, the droplets from the sky acting as small ice bombs. They dropped all over my face, landing on my nose. It was blithering cold, and I shivered as I locked my house door, dropping my key in my pocket. I continued walking, feeling something dropping from my pocket. I stopped for a minute, wondering what it was. I didn't bother, checking the time, I was already running beyond late. I was going to miss Meiko. I started to run, my vision blurring slightly as the ice-shard like droplets dropped into my eyes from the heavens. I chuckled, making it to the subway station and I stopped mid-step. Meiko. Was. There. My headphones bounced on my scarf as I walked over to her cheerily. "Kaito!" she cried happily, hugging me. I caught a glimpse of her face. Her nose was bright red from the winter-like weather. I have to say, it was quite unusual for beginning spring. Or maybe it was still winter? Her red-brown eyes brightened, meeting my plain blue ones. Or they were just plain in my own opinion. I loved her eyes, I beyond adored them. They reminded me of the fire during winter, warm, bright, and full of spark. I held her in my arms, my coat only reaching half of my calf. "Jeez, Kaito, you're quite warm in this weather." she chuckled. She was wearing a red sweatshirt, black sweatpants and a pair of snow boots. "Meiko, you're quite warm as well. Why are you wearing such clothes?" I asked, looking down at her beautiful face. She smiled, and her face became as red as her sweatshirt, a crimson. To me, the weather became even more blistering as the wind beat against my neck, as I craned it to look down at the angel I spoke to. I pulled her closer, wrapping my arms around her. She buried her face in my chest. I simply, lifted her, walking down to to the subway. As we sat next to each other, she smiled sheepishly,"It's much warmer in here, isn't it Kai?" I simply chuckled,"Yes it is. Are you feeling warmer, and are you sick by chance?" She smiled, showing her dazzling white teeth, answering. "Haha, I have caught a cold now that I think about it. I am truly feeling warmer, thank you for asking, Kai." I could feel hotness creeping up my face, in a blush. What's happening? Was I supposed to feel this way about Meiko? We got to the studio safely, walking into the sound check room. It was maybe about two hours of voice checks, editing, re-recording and stuff. I invited Meiko over to my house after. We walked coolly to my house, until we got to the door. I reached into my pocket, and expected to finger a key. Instead, lint. I panicked, embarrassed. "Erm..Meiko..I can't find my key..." I mumbled, throwing my hands in the air in frustration. Once again, I failed acting cool. "It's okay, Kai. You can stay at my house if you like. Actually, I think I have some of your clothes from last time when you slept at my house. I turned pink,"You wouldn't mind? I don't want to be a burden, Meiko." "You won't, Kaito. I'd love for you to stay at my house." she chuckled, eagerly taking my hand and walking down the grey sidewalk. Oh what a night this would be in my mind.
Meiko~ We walked down the sidewalk in pure silence. It was slightly warmer now, but it was still raining harshly. I bit my lip as I walked hand-in-hand with Kaito. Walking close behind me, I could tell he was still upset that he had lost his house key. "So...Meiko..." "Yes Kaito?" I replied casually. He was walking right next to me now, as if he had to tell me the most important secret ever. "You don't mind me staying with you, at all?" he asked, looking down at my frail face. I smiled. "Course I don't mind, Kai! It'd be a pleasure having you stay for a day or two." "I just don't want to be a burden or mess up your schedule. . ." he replied, looking down and speaking in a quiet tone. "NEVER." I laughed, insisting. We walked together in silence, a very awkward one as well. He held my hand with a smile, and I hummed an upbeat tone. I remember hearing it from somewhere long ago. My brown hair bounced with my skips as we got to my house. I stopped at my pretty red and white accented house. I pushed my key in the door, and unlocked it swiftly. I swung open the door. "Here we are." I grinned. Kaito chuckled,"You have a pretty house, Meiko." "Thank you Kai. I would say the same for yours, Liar. " I smirked. My house was a total mess. Len and Rin were asleep on my couch listening to Leva's polka. "Oh good gracious." I sighed, walking in. Kaito followed behind and shut the door. "Rin, Len, c'mon, wake up." I sighed. Len lazily opened his mouth to yawn, and Rin sat right up. "I'm awake!" she shouted. Len dragged behind his sister. "Len, c'mon!" she giggled, walking. Len walked behind me as I faced Kaito. He slyly grinned, and the last thing I felt was a kick in my back and I saw a flash of blue.
