  1. World Vegetarian Day

Hey everyone! Happy World Vegetarian Day! BTW it's also International Music Day... World Vegetarian Day, October 1, is the annual kick-off of Vegetarian Awareness Month. Make a difference this October by informing others about the benefits of vegetarianism. You will be helping to create a better world because vegetarian diets have proven health benefits, save animals’ lives and help to preserve the Earth.

  2. well at least ur not a vegan

  3. I don't really wanna argue with you, so imma just say this 

Health benefits, there are health benefits In all diets, there are benefits in vegetarian food, however, there is the same (if not more) health benefits to eating a balanced diet with meat and other foods

  4. #MeatsAreGood

  5. Let them live in ignorance. Yeah meat is good, that's why America got the highest obesity rate in the world. A broccoli ain't gonna make you obese.

  6. America got the highest obesity rate not because of meat, otherwise European countries should be the most obese as they all have meat as part of their culinary culture.
Obesity is determined by several factors and in most cases meat has nothing to do with it.
Get well informed before talking rubbish

  7. One word.....bacon

  8. yes 

  9. I think it would have been better if you had bacon guy avatar when saying this :D

  10. You guys are true, even I'm non vegetarian, but this is a day for vegetarians to celebrate! Let them have their say! We can prove ourselves later...

  11. Lame before Omar

  12. This.
Meat is a protein often encouraged by fitness trainers to help increase muscle mass with exercise.
Americans are obese due to inactivity, the portions and contents of our plates (tends to lead towards an overload of carbs and only a small amount of greens), ethnic background, location, gender, wages earned in a household, etc. There isn't just ONE factor in play.

  13. America is actually #2 in obesity, right behind Mexico. Meat doesn't make you fat. Vegetables don't make you fat. It's a lack of self control and portion control.

Eating too much of anything too often will lead you to gain extra weight.

I know people who eat junk food all the time and they are fit and healthy and then people like me who can't or else we'll start getting chubba wubb.

All bodies aren't the same. All bodies need to be taken care of differently to be their healthiest. Some people can go vegetarian or vegan, other's can't or simply don't want to.

And theirs nothing wrong with that. Do what is and makes you feel healthiest.

  14. No today is national homemade cookie day! Don't steal it's spotlight!

  15. Thanks, spot on

  16. Support

  17. Vegan doesn't make you special and you shouldn't push that garbage on people just cause. It's everyone's choice they know what they eat and if they want change then they need to work for it.
I'm not some fat obease America. Yeah I'm an American but just because I eat meats doesn't automatically make me an obease American cow.

People have choice and know for sure that just being Vegan or even Vegatarian doesn't make you special it's just a life style choice.

  18. veggies are bae

  19. Just so you know... I'm reading this while I eat a juicy Whopper with bacon and cheese from Burger King. Thank you for being a vegetarian... that means more for me... :)
