World Book Day Characters

  1. In a month I have to dress as a character from a book to celebrate World Book Day. I want to dress as something fun like an oompa lumpa or the cat in the hat. I work with 11-16 year olds so ideally someone they would recognise.
    Any suggestions? :)

  2. I remember someone a Mr. Square in year 1. Geez I was jealous.

  3. I'm so looking through all the Mr and little miss characters later!

  4. have fun

  5. Barney yo tha purple dino

  6. 50 shades of gray....... Maybe twilight.

  7. Dress up as a fairytale character like Cinderella or Little Red Riding Hood ️

  8. Tinkerbell 

  9. Harry potter? Everyone knows him and an outfit would be reasonably simple. Gandalf would be cool too.

Mr men might be a bit young for kids that age, both my kids are in that age range and left them behind years back although they are admittedly awesome.

Hunger games like suggested before would be good but Harry Potter would be my personal choice since it was a franchise credited with getting so many kids reading again. You can also see the style of books change during the series as she realised the audience wasn't what she expected if you're chatting about writing etc

  10. 50 Shades is definitely not acceptable for me to dress up for at a school!

  11. Does spongebob have a book?

  12. Harry potter franchise is good, I could even try be a dementor!

  13. Mad Hatter or Cheshire Cat. 

  14. Do.it.seriously.

  15. I'd probably be arrested!

  16. Well. Do you have a clean record so far?
