The recent update that prohibited people from sending ecs between rs members has had quite an impact. People who created "ec alts", accounts that had no purpose other than to buy the starter pack and then have those ecs transferred to their main, are looking for something to do with all of these ecs which they now can't transfer. Many are using them for cats to drop in clubs. While others are selling them for showcase items. Due to the anti-extortion rule... People Should Make Alts And "Deal" with them philanthropically Just an idea. The ecs are going down in value in this market due to increased supply, but they are their hard-earnt ecs. Help the industry by increasing your demand to compensate for the increased supply ?????????

You see the problem here is that PIMD does not follow the ideal economic model The Case of ecs In an ideal economic model, with increase in demand and also increase in purchasing power of the population, the price/value of a commodity goes up if the supply is controlled. Industries do this to increase their profits. But this works only when there's a variable cost involved. Contrary to this, the cost involved in creating ecs and selling them is zero for PIMD. So their revenue=profit. In this scenario they'd want to sell more ecs rather than control supply and increase the price. Hence why the supply is unlimited and the price constant. Now in the PIMD community, the demand for ecs are ever increasing. But, given the price is constant and supply unlimited, with increased purchasing power of the people the supply in the market is bound to increase which brings down its value no matter how much the demand increases. Need or want Ecs can be classified under items of luxury as ecs are something you buy with your disposable income. It's human nature that people like to spend on luxury items just to feel good about themselves. Not everyone can afford items like rolls Royce, but everyone can afford ecs, so why not buy them and feel good about it.
