Okay, so the title is clearly ragebait, sure, but also discussing with friends around the world today, it seems like every currency is adjusted to reflect X:USD exchange rate, however GBP:USD 1:1 for in app purchases. This means an IAP of $9.99usd costs someone in the UK around $14usd. Why does it appear that the UK is the only currency impacted by this? Also, I know the webstore exists, but the same offers aren't always reflected on webstore.
I used to live in England and then I moved to Malta then Spain. When I lived on England, the prices in all games was always higher, also if you have an iPhone the prices are higher. I switched to an android and the prices was lower. I think the reason is about tax or rules and regulations in the UK. I heard that also in Germany the prices are higher, so it definitely depends on the country. When I lived in Malta and Spain, the prices are significant lower. For the 200 extra credits box which is $19.99, I pay 18.28 eur. It obviously change depending on the currency market.
