I am a gay person and it is a choice and it is also not a choice. It's your choice or not if you want to show everyone that you're gay or not but it is not your choice on who you fall for. You don't have that power over your emotions, you can choose to not act upon it but you can't help but feel that way.

 

I have a guy at my work who is gay. Upon talking to him he told me its his choice to be gay and he wasn't born feeling like that. So yes, I believe it is a choice but it can go deeper.
