This is disgusting. Sure, she had an amazing voice. Sure, she was love by many. I know that it is sad that Ms. Houston has died, but this disgusts me. SHE IS A CELEBRITY. I find it unfair that we have people fighting for us daily and dying daily to protect our right and freedom. (United States) I'm not saying that Whitney Houston dying doesn't make me sad. I loved some of her songs. But really, what about those people who actually keep us safe. We could all die without them. Now, Whitney has given us wonderful amounts of great music, but our armed forces give us safety. I'm sorry, but all I'm saying is that we should honor those who does for us and become a little bit less obsessed with her death. Thank you! -Melly
You new fangled forumers sadden me. There are already other threads basically dealing with this same topic.
Again...? There's about 1468532884247 threads like this... Wanna feed on someone else's controversy???
And if you really care about the people who fight for your freedom you would have made a thread called tribute to the freedom fighters... Not Whitney Huston....
Azarah, I'm not new thank you very much. My gosh guys, why must you be so crude? I was just stating what was on my mind. Something I believe in. Okay? Leave me alone.
Not crude... Just stating my opinion... There's a thread about Whitney Huston already, the op of that thread exposed the same opinion, with different words... If you wanted to state you opinion about Whitney Huston you could have used that thread... If you wanted to pay tribute to the freedom fighters you wouldn't have called your thread Whitney Huston...
Well I'm sorry. Did it ever occur to you I didn't read it? Plus, I kinda wrote as I ranted in my head, named it the first thing that came in my mind.
My school friend died fighting for the British Army in Afghanistan. He was awarded the Victoria Cross (the highest award for valour, posthumously). He left behind a wife and 2 children (one unborn at the time). One died saving their comrades from almost certain death. One died from unknown causes (which I'll bet will be linked to drink and drugs). She had an amazing voice. Which should we think is the hero? That's up to your opinion of a hero. I know mine. RIP Bryan
It's annoying to see how we have way more threads about anti-bullying and no one slams it and instead finds something else to attack... But anyway, very meaningful thread some person on the first page said there were how many threads on this topic? Nah, way lesser than that. Exaggeration at it's finest.
A person is still a person. A life is still a life. Should we take sides over whitney or soldiers? No! Its like with binladin. (however you spell his name) he was a bad man, but he was still a man. Yes he killed many but I don't think they should've killed him. Why don't we just let this die now
I'd like to point out that not all soldiers are good and saving people... Just like not all singer are good or useful...
