There are many occasions where people exchange/give gifts during the year. I know it's the thought that counts when someone gives you a gift but sometimes these are given without a thought. Over the years I have received some doozies and just smiled and said thank you. ( please don't take this as being ungrateful, it's more of a funny story ) . So every Christmas when our little family goes to my inlaws house I'm always expecting some interesting re-gifts.. now I'm not knocking re-gifting, especially if it's done right ie: you have no need for a gift but you know someone else could use it, a double of something you already have etc Now over the past few years my mother in law has gifted me used items, like last year in my stocking was a 10 year old discontinued tube of a bath and body works lotion (used and half empty), used candle and my husband received some similar item's. This year was used repackaged Christmas decorations that half worked and was missing a part from the set... Now I don't want you thinking " maybe they don't have the money! " Nope, they're pretty well off actually just extremely cheap... I myself am a big bargain shopper and will often stock up on things for gifts ahead of time but to gift an item I've already used is beyond me lol. My husband always chuckle about the crazy stuff we get . So what are some crazy things you've been gifted?
A wooden sculpture of Miley twerking on robin thick. Too be honest I was impressed more than disgusted ?
Oh! I forgot this one! Years ago when I still worked we all did a secret santa exchange at work, so we all just put the gifts in the back office and picked them up as we counted our drawer out.... I open mine to see a rather scary looking " adult novelty " and some other adult products. I don't think you should gift "adult novelty " items without really knowing someone lol. I just remember hiding it in my room hoping no one saw it
Adult novelty in the workplace oh my. Those sexual harassment lectures must not be working quite well
My great grandma, who was in her llate 80's at the time, dumped a back-street boys calendar on me for Christmas when I was 8 It was very disliked by me, but my sister took it
