Like bro you're out there in the world, shaking the hands of many people throughout the day, patting, you using da toilets and just placing your hands everywhere so the first thing I do right when I get home is wash my hands like get hand sanitizer, soap a flame thrower and clean my hands to a crips my African American brothers So yeah that's the first thing I do What do you do?
Take my shoes off unless im going back outside. If that then dump my shit at the door then go do whatever im doing

Germs are good bro. Its what builds your immune system. Being to clean can put you more at risk then being a bit dirty
I clean them after i take a shit. I clean them after working in the yard or working on my car (or just have a shower if im not going anywhere else that day). Or if im cleaning out dishes that had been left for a couple weeks or so coz i kept forgetting about them. But apart from that i generally dont coz i dont really care.
