Fan fiction, noun, is a fiction written by a fan of a specific tv show, book series, or movie, featuring the characters of said series. Some use fan fiction as a kind of place to write amature stories and get praise, I believe they should also get helpful criticism, considering they are armatures, myself included. Some use fan fiction as a place for role playing, RP's for short. RP's are good and fine as long as they have a purpose and the people playing the roles are not, in fact, those who have no idea what the hell is going on and join because they can, which is what most RP's consist of, no purpose and ignorant people. RP's are places where people can act like they're someone else, and have complicated relationships and best friends. The problem is, this will be ignored or hated because those who create and participate will somehow disagree. Some who write stories need guidance in the most basic parts of grammar and spelling. Some who write stories simply do not have the colorful details and interesting plots that make a good story a good story. This is just my very general and vague analasis of the situations on fan fiction, and there are good writers that deserve recognition that I cannot give them as to remain fair. Thank you for reading.
