What is a true forumer to you? What qualities must they have? Do they make helpful threads? Guides? Do they have to be an old forumer? Someone who has been on forums for a long time? A vet? This is something that has been argued about for a while on the "Top Forumers Voting Threads". This is not a voting thread, so don't look like a fool and vote. If you do vote, you will probably get bashed. So don't. This is a thread to express your opinion about this subject. But the most important part... EXPRESS YOUR OPINION IN A KIND MANNER. DO NOT ARGUE. Please. I know you all LOVE to fight, but this thread is strictly NO arguing. Just express your opinion, and be on your way. So what is a true forumer to you?
They are people that go on forums and comment and make threads. That's pretty much it. And forumer isn't even a word ,_,
A true former is someone who has taken from the community and is currently in the process of giving back; educational threads, epic threads, funny threads, guides, helpful threads, question threads, news threads.. Etc. Basically someone who has set the foundation for themselves and built themselves up over time. Not necessarily a veteran player, but someone who is there for other people, whether it be good for bad. There are true good forumers, and true bad forumers. Bad = troll Good = Helpers/mods I have a very select opinion on what I personally think a veteran or a "true" forumer is, and there are not many left.
Got cut off *Vets arent necessarily forumers. Forumers are people who actively are on forums and making threads.
I don't think a forumer has to be a vet. I think a forumer is a funny, helpful person. They are active in the forums, post and make threads daily. They follow the ToU, and try not to provoke arguments. That is what I think a True Forumer is.
My opinion is that this whole debate bores me. Make posts, comment on them, just do something constructive.
A true forumer would be one who makes useful threads, and explains things on them. They would also make non-useful threads, to cheer themselves up. They would have lost of friends, who support them. They would be recognized by most people who come on the forums. They are loved and respected by all other forumers. That's my definition, anyway
