In order to be a moderator, you have to be patient, tough skinned, and someone who enjoys helping others. You need to display a vast knowledge of the game and currently be helping improve the community in one way or another. You could be answering questions, helping new players learn about the game, or guiding confused players in forums. On top of all that, you have to have a extreme understanding of the Terms of Use(game) and Rules of Conduct(forums) so you can effectively moderate the application. I would also like to mention that if you are a mod you are expected to set a good example and try to be a nice as possible. So, you cannot just say "lalala don't really care" as that is very rude and not the kind of behavior that a company would want in people setting an example for their users.
