Have you tried? Might be your easiest way to find out the answers to those questions

 

No you cannot gift and buy candies. The devs said future individual wars will drop candy but we don't know when that will be and how many it will drop. Hope that answers your questions. 

 

there is a candy party list here in forums love, check that out for what parties drop .

 

You have to hit the party at least once. But you get the same amount of candies as someone who hits it 200 times

Redsox that is completely wrong I've hit a party once and no candy dropped for me. You need to hit 2-3 times max
