What's up party people! If you didn't know when this game started its priority was Strip farm war and club wars. Yes, people hit each other instead of parties and loved it. What I want to know is what will it take for people to want to war again? What incentive's would you like to see(hunt boxes, party drops, lite boxes,etc.)? If you care about war or want to try it comment your opinions please and thanks
My problem with the most recently planned wars have been that I'm working. I would love more planned on different days of the week so i can participate, though i can understand most people would be more active throughout the weekend. It doesn't seem fair to me to sign up and not be able to be on consistently to support my team. Hunt drops or items would be interesting and i think it would definitely get a lot more attention from the party fairy side of the game if they implemented something like that. Das my 2 cents
SISISJDSISJS I completely agree on the different days thing. Weekends are my only time to sleep so I'm rarely actually on pimd on weekends. Drives me insane.
I think it would take ata driving things more towards pvp/wars instead of partying The new account tutorial once had a “hit this person” but now it just teaches you about partying and even rewards you for certain parties So once people join the app they’re already seeing pvp as an oddity and wrong/bullying. So they then try getting help and the response is usually “shut up noob just hit back or cf” rather than teaching them the mechanics of pvp or even the history of pimd pvp/wars There’s enough of these “sfw friendly” or sfw clubs around but nobody has much incentive to organized war (club farming don’t count) Many cat clubs are constantly being made and dominating every aspect of the game even ata wallets which means even less attention on wars/pvp So... ata needs to step up its pvp portion once again and not just with occasional hunts that include it. But a real entirely added feature of pvp and wars and it would get players to try it more and aim the direction of fun on pimd to include more than just “repeat action” over and over in two week increments But yeah whatevs parties woohoo
Separating system wars from off system wars, I think it's pretty easy to have system wars be rewarding, they're a part of the game and easily could have a dev-run war system that drops hunt items or whatever depending on contribution, etc. Tbh I hate system wars, so I'll just leave it at that. The second part, off system wars, I don't think ata has any interest in. It's the least looked at and given "pity hunts" to help, but honestly they either mess them up (all dns used were refunded in one), tied to cat Cafe parties (snowball hunt), or easily exploitable (idols hunt). Current game mechanics don't really help either. If you're a new player, you're more likely to be introduced to pvp by a currently established player who throws misc on an alt. Forumers screaming, "hit back or cf, noob." really doesn't help when they can't hit back because of the transferred misc. You're literally giving them one option with that phrase. Sign on, earn an item, give it up. So, in addition to what Anonymous said about not teaching, we're not giving them a chance to play it without getting wiped by some meta-wielding vets who want easy misc.
The only way to get a big portion of the PIMD community to participate in PvP related content is making it just as rewarding, or perhaps more rewarding that the fairying aspect of the game. I wanted to suggest having a chance to get misc items and furniture dropping from hitting other people... but I soon realised that would end up with fairy’s hitting their own Alts. So yeah my suggestion would be more loot from hitting people (yes I know loot is already high but it doesn’t compete with a cat and doesn’t compensate for the risk of being hit back) and perhaps stories which let you chose between 10 player targets ATA suggests (to avoid alt farming) and having farm related objectives for that.
Exactly. ATA doesn’t show pvp as a good thing and players don’t correctly teach it so it becomes wasted and instead alts are stacked up and abuse stat limitations which only makes the view on pvp worse. Really a lot of the blame falls on players (and those party “fairies” that use alts to farm because they don’t wanna get hit/sfw enthusiasts “cheating” their way into easy misc)
I would also suggest that there are a lot of people who are still unaware of the system wars and it's perks and that's why they don't participate. If any hunt is being done which gives particularly war items followed by a war, it would bring more people onboard.
There needs to be a 12 hour war option...24 is long af but has to be used to cover all the time zones so everyone has a chance to participate...some war "timer boxes" wpuld be good way to distribute some war exclusive items...able to get some of whatever the current hunt drops are would be nice
What if war had a buy in, kinda like in poker,to participate in war you have to give 10mcs worth of stat items, n when the war is over if u win u get ur 10mcs back n another 10mcs from one of the losing members on the other team, if u lose u obviously just don’t get ur mcs back ??♂️
100% agree. Hate kinda not being able to participate in wars or miss out on them because the days are on days I end up working. I wish more organized Wars were created tho. I also wish PimD in general dint like ignore it as much. I get that it doesn’t make money and isn’t the soul purpose of the game but I still feel like it should be shown to everyone.
