SHAWNA POV ~~>~~>~~>~~>~~> "Shawna hurry get back in here before the war starts," my mom yelled. I groaned. Here goes my freedom. I was eighteen and my mother and father were the famous leaders who were fired. That's right Madelin and Zevin. There marriage caused a war. My dad was supposed to be married to someone of the Farlands. Since he married my mom before twenty one they got mad. They said that they would fight to get him. Soon the girl he was to marry was married herself. They were mad and swore revenge on our town. This is the revenge. They declared war two days ago and I lost my freedom. I loved to hunt and go outdoors. I was more of my mother then my father really but looked just like them both. I had a twin sister who was my best friend. I also had a little brother who looked just like my dad. He was fifteen. I ran in the house along with my brother and sister ready for the bombing to start. I was a fire element and so was my sister. My brother was a water which was a minor problem. "Okay there has been a change of plans," my mom said getting out her wand. "What do you mean," my brother Hunter said. "I mean I hope y'all know how to fight!" "What? Ohhh no! I am not fighting," Chevelle my sister complained. "Well I'm sorry baby you are going to have to," dad said. "I will! I know how," I volunteered. "Good girl now the rest of you willing to or not will fight okay? No ifs or buts," my mom said opening the door"Wands at the ready!" We all got out our wands ran out the door ready to battle. CHEVELLE POV ~~>~~>~~>~~>~~>~~> As we ran out there were people falling to the ground left and right. I gulped. I hoped I survived this! I had just broken up with my boyfriend the day before the war was declared. He had cheated on me and tried to get away with it. If he thought that with my family then he was the most retarded person ever! I ran out throwing fire at the far landers. They fell to the ground left and right as I ran around. We got separated from my mom and dad and my brother was a little behind us. Me and Shawna were back to back walking slowly in circles shooting far landers left and right. "Hey there! You two shouldn't be in this war! Let us help you," some guys our age that were far landers said walking over to us. I smirked"Your just trying to stop us from destroying your people!" "Yes that's what it is," he smirked. "Back off before we burn your heads off," Shawna snarled. "Easy princess just trying to help," the other said. "We are not princesses," I screamed rising in the air. I gasped and fell back down. "You can't get us upset like that," Shawna screamed and set there heads on fire. They ran off screaming. "Het hunter cool them off," I laughed. We went back to shooting people until I saw my parents. HUNTER POV ~~>~~>~~>~~>~~> I watched as my parents were lifted in the air. They were blown up into pieces right there for all of us to see. I heard my sisters screaming. I ran over and comforted them and bringing them into an empty building. We were all crying and hugging each other. "Okay I know where we can go. I have been to grandmas before and I think I remember where it is. Can y'all fly?" Yes I know you were told I was water but I am also a mix of air. They shook they're heads"Ok hold my hand and we will go okay?" They nodded there heads and took my hands. We flew out and over the gate. We flew to a neighborhood. I could tell this was it because mom and dad had told the story of them meeting thousands of times. We landed and I knocked on the door. Grandma opened the door and saw the tears going down our faces. "Oh dear! Come in and tell me what's wrong," she exclaimed. We walked in and explained what happened. "Whats school," I asked. "Y'all really don't know anything do y'all? Well it is where you learn knowledge and meet friends and become social!" "Oh so it's like academy!" "Yes! Like academy!" "We haven't really been to academy this year though," Chevelle whispered. "Well just because your mother quit school at y'alls age doesn't mean y'all are! You will go to school tommorow!" "Yes mam," Hunter said. "Good now you girls share a room and Hunter go to the one next to them! First door on the right," she screamed to us as we ran upstairs. We remembered we needed our things and ran back down. "Be careful," she yelled as we ran out the door. Hunter flew us back and we got our things. "Who do we check with to tell them we are leaving," I asked. "Well if I knew mom and dad they would say the leaders and since I do then we better go to their house," Chevelle said walking in the direction of the house. "Okay," me and Hunter said together an followed her. We arrived at the house and I knocked on the door. A boy our age or maybe a year older answered the door. He smiled"How my I help y'all?" "Well we came to check out of the town and to let y'all know what happened of us," I said smiling back to be polite. "Oh! Why leave?" "Our parents... Were blown apart..," I murmured scared to say it. "Oh I'm sorry to hear that! Why don't y'all come in and relax!" "Oh we can't our grandmother is waiting! She said something about having a school to go to." "Oh I know all about those! Come in and I can explain!" "Really we can't. Maybe another time but we really need to get away before we are targeted!" "Targeted? But why?" "Our parents..." CHEVELLE POV ~~>~~>~~>~>~~>~~> "They were the old leaders and targeted! You know Madelin and Zevin? Yea that's them now can you check us out or not," I blurted tired of the conversation. "Yes I can but you will need to sign some papers." "Well lets sign them and get out of here before we are killed!" "Okay come in I'll have the papers ready in a minute. Oh by the way my name is Cade," he said smiling at my sister. I could see her blushing as we walked in. As I walked by him I whispered"Stay away from her," an smiled a sweet smile and followed my sister. We sat at a table as he got the papers ready. He came back in with a pen and a couple papers. "Here you go just sign here and here and new address here." He smiled at my sister and whispered something to her. She smiled and nodded her head writing something on a piece of paper. As he came by taking the papers up I snarled"I told you to stay away and you better listen." He smiled and told us that was all he needed and we left. "What did he say to you," I asked Shawna. "He wanted my number," she blushed. "Of course he did," I muttered as Hunter flew us back. HUNTER POV ~~>~~>~~>~~>~~>~~> That guy seemed to interested in Shawna. Me and Chevelle are over protective with each other but Shawna.... She doesn't see the danger in life. She wants to be free to run around and do as she pleases but of she only understood... It would all be different. As we got back we unpacked our things. I watched my sister. She looked star Struck. Could she be so stupid to fall in love with this spoiled rich kid? If she was then I was going to have to stop it. "Diner time," grandma screamed and we ran downstairs. "How did the trip go," she asked as we ate. "Well ask Maddie," Chevelle murmured. I nudged her and mouthed shutup. What she mouthed back shrugging her shoulders. "Well Maddie how was it?" "Amazing," she replied starry eyed. I rolled my eyes at her. What was so special about this guy? "Good good! When y'all finish put up the plates and head straight to bed!" We nodded and finished. I put my plate up and ran upstairs not telling the girls night. SHAWNA POV ~~>~~>~~>~~> I woke up to a strange noise in my ear. I sat up and listened closely. I quickly covered my ears. What was that awful noise? I ran downstairs screaming. "Honey whats wrong," grandma asked taking my ears off my head. "That noise!" She laughed"That's called an alarm clock! They wake you up in the morning! I guess you are not used to these things though are you?" "No," I replied. Just then the other two come screaming down the stairs. Grandma couldn't stop laughing and when she did she explained. We all got ready for school and when we ran back downstairs we ate. We grabbed our things and walked out the door. "Where do we go," Chevelle asked as we shut the door. "Really? As many times as mom and dad told the story? You would think you would memorize it," Hunter said walking away from the house. I laughed and pulled Chevelle as she stood there shocked. I was walking backwards talking to them when I bumped into someone and started falling. Whoever it was had caught me and held on tightly to me. "I'm so sorry," I exclaimed trying to get up. "It's fine," a familiar voice said holding me there. I looked at Hunter and Chevelle. They had evil in their eyes and scowls on their faces. What could make them this upset? I looked up to see a smiling Cade looking at me. "Oh," I murmured trying to get up again. "What's wrong? Don't like being in my arms?" "Oh it's not that just...," I looked at Chevelle and Hinter and they looked ready to take out their wands. I shook my heads at them. They sighed and put there hands down. "What a coincident I ran into you here!" "Yes I would figure you to be at home." "I'm here on a mission. I volunteered actually." "Of course you did," Chevelle murmured. I scowled at her and looked back to Cade smiling. "Really? Well it must be important for a leader to be here considering the rules made after they let my parents....." "Yes it is very actually. If she knew who Raven really was.... "Who is this," she asked looked behind me. "No one," I said fast and covered my sister. If they fight like our moms used to they would kill each other! "Class get seated," the teacher announced as we all scrambled to our seats. "Now to begin class," the teacher said as she went on and on. I didn't hear a word. I was to worried. We walked to the house and when we entered our grandma and grandpa wasn't there so we sat down on the floor of the living trying to think of a game to play. "Have y'all ever heard of hornets," Max smiled. "No," me and Hunter and said together. "Well you get a rubber band and put it between your thumb and index finger. You make this little wad of paper things and load them on to it. You pull back the string and aim at someone and shoot them. Three times getting hit and your out!" "Sounds fun," I exclaimed getting the paper an rubber band. When I came back they were whispering something and looked worried. "What's wrong," I asked slowly. "Nothing," they said together really fast and then Max took the rubber band and paper and showed us how to play. "Ready! Go,"he said as I jumped behind a couch and a hornet flew by my ear. "Ow," Hunter screamed. I laughed and popped my head out aiming at Hunter. I shot and hit him. I quickly reloaded and shot my brother. He screamed again and Max hit him the third time laughing. While he was distracted I shot him again. He half screamed half laughed and aimed at me. I rolled to the chair aiming at him again. We shot at the same time hitting each other at the same time. We fell over and I was beginning to feel hot. "Oh no! I forgot! Pain ignites her powers," Hunter said spraying me with water. "Don't! Water... Hurts me," I murmured and closed my eyes. And why were they suspended? No one would tell me. They said it was a surprise. As the bell rang I rushed out of the class. I was immediately going home and yelling at them. "Stop running," a teacher yelled. I muttered"Fine," under my breath and set myself on fire floating in the air. I rushed to the door as every one moved out of my way. There was someone staring at me blocking the door. It was a student so I didn't see why he was there. "Move!" "Shawna calm down," a reassuring voice said. "I don't know who you are and how you know my name but you better get out of my way before I set your head on fire!" "Calm down! I'm not moving!" "Bad choice," I said and stormed after him. Then water was all over me"I didn't want to have to do that," the boy whispered. "Water... Weakens me but doesn't... Take away... My anger," I murmured as I fell and stood up. I did pretty good not to pass out. My head was spinning and I clutched onto the wall. "I'm so sorry," the boy whispered. I could hear footsteps and someone put there hand on my shoulder. "I'm...
