The Clan Wars Book 1 By TheWriter33 I sat in closet as my family died. I heard screams I hate myself for not going out there and helping,But what could a 4 year old do? I could barely raise a sword much less fight. More screaming, more dying, I remember what my dad, The Chief of the Ruling Clan Duncan LacLandon or was ruling, More screaming more dying I start to cry. My dad told me to stay ,but I wanted to see if we're winning the thought lifted my spirits alittle. I hear burning in the distance I didn't know who would want to attack us. My dad said that we were the fairest clan to ever rule. Guess he was lying when he told me I hear running up the stairs and yelling. Their was a loud bang I saw the door fly fall to the ground. I hear a voice .,"Find the kid the Chief said he was in here before he was......," I didn't hear the rest as a man came into the closet and looked at me. ."Found him M'lady" The man turns side ways and a pretty women walks towards me. I crawl away from her fearing for my life. "Don't be scared Jack, Don't be scared .," She said in a friendly tone. I am to scared to speak ,but somehow I want to trust her. The castle shakes .."Cassandra we must go! Their coming in I'm guessing what left of the Chiefs army is dead or escaped.,". Cassandra looks at the man and nods and turns back to me .,"We worked for your father he knew this day would happen so made a fallback plan for us to save the rightful heir.," She paused .,"You, come on we need to hurry she grabs my hand and we run. We walk out of my room following the big man we head to the secret exit I had no idea was there. We head towards it....but we never got there. There was a loud bang, Cassandra falls to the ground and everything goes black the last I hear is flames.....and laughter. ************ This is my first installment of many books to come please be nice but critical about what I should do and not thank you for reading and please be supportive if you liked it! -TheWriter33
