i don’t consider myself a vegan oh no i love meat put i also enjoy veganism food i once try spinach pizza and it was so good with sweet potato fries what are some of your favorite vegan foods
I mean yea i love veggies and other food outside of meat or animal products, but for some reasons i almost never order stuff without meat. I feel like you always have to go in special vegan restaurant to eat those. I'm not against it at all, it's just uncommon I like mushrooms on pizza more than anything else, i also like broccoli on it
On topic, ive never really had food without meat tbh. Unless it’s like a salad or something, but the things I put on my salads wouldn’t be considered as “vegan.” So I’ve never truly had any type of fully veganized food. Is veganized a word? ?
Because it annoys tf out of me when ppl call food like brocolli and spinach vegan. Meat eaters eat that stuff, too, it's just food. The only things that make sense to call 'vegan' food is when ppl adjust things that normally have animal products in them, like cake or fake meat
She has a point about there actually being a lot of vegan food that you can cook. It is difficult to be vegan when you're just starting off giving up meat
Vegan cookie aren't not good, i already ranted about it in food thread lol If someone's gonna eat junk food by substituting animal products with vegan alternatives that taste disgusting, might as well eat the real thing or don't eat it at all
As someone has previously mentioned, you weren’t trying hard enough. I was vegan for 10 months and at first all I ate was processed vegan food. I found my options very restricting at first, but after a lot of research and failed attempts at trying to make stuff edible I found that a vegan diet is not restricting at all. My fav super quick meal to make back then was a garbanzo bean salad. I also LOVED making eggplant parmesan (obviously substituting some ingredients for vegan ones). My favorite processed vegan food were the BOCA Chikn Nuggets. I still sometimes purchase those because I think they taste better than actual chicken nuggets. Okay /rant
Ohh why did you stop the vegan diet ? And now, do you eat meat like before you were vegan or did you change your diet into something else ?
Cheese happened. Jk LOL um there were various factors that played into my decision to quit that lifestyle, but it definitely had nothing to do with being bored with what I was eating. Honestly, I’m not the biggest meat-eater so giving up meat came easy to me. What I had a hard time coping with was not being able to add cheese to everything. Parmesan cheese, mozzarella cheese, cheddar cheese, etc I love it all and I was never able to find the perfect substitute for it (although Daiya cheese was good it wasn’t the same). To answer your question, I don’t eat that much meat and I never really have but I am stuffing my face with way more cheese because I value it more now.
