Just thought I'd say something... This is another one of my boring threads that serves no purpose other that making me seem smart and helping. Community service announcment The World is Utopia "Heaven is a place on earth, in you, and around you. The world is what you make of it." -Me There is no possible utopia. Let me explain. Let's say this utopia has no pain.(Pain=Suffering) Pain comes in two main forms, Physical and Emotional. Now, Phyisical pain is easy to remedy (Special medications, pecaurions). What about Emotional? True story I liked a girl. She shared the same feelings for me. We dated. We broke up. I felt Emotional pain from it. How can I prevent that? Remove the cause! If we removed love though, The world would not be a Utopia anymore. See what I mean? This is just one af the things a Utopia is not capable of getting. There are many others. This concept is similar to Yin and Yang. The main thing I'm getting at is Life is what you make it! Nobody but you is in control, you are to blame for your mistakes, but you are also get the glory for your accomplishments. "Heaven is everywhere" -Some guy in heaven Soo... Go do something fantastic!
.... Fun fact. Another fun fact: The Giver was actually based on a book called Anthem by Ayn Rand. A book typically read in 11th grade. Most book themes like a "utopia" get their contents from Anthem. It's a very good book. Hunger Games is also based off of Anthem.
