I'm currently gathering opinion about Salt Lake City and Utah in general and so far the place doesn't sound like a great place to live in as a liberal considering their history, with the majority of people living there being mormons (latter day saints). Do you have an opinion about the place from an out-of-state perspective, have you ever lived there or still live there? Would you recommend the place for non-LDS liberal for stay up to 6 years?
Never lived there myself, but I have friends who moved there for college. They are very conservative. They loved it. Some of them stayed permanently. You shouldn't move anywhere if you hate their culture, you will be miserable.
good for 4x4ing, hell yea moab, awful for everything else. too many mormons and racists, not enough coffee. perfect amount of red dirt and amount of times ive almost died there tho. 10/10 on that front. definitely would not live there.
