Why is our country so divided on race. I see all over social media in my daily life and sometimes in person. People of color wanna so bad be a victim and pretend there's some imaginary white man out there keeping them down. Then you have another group of folks constantly saying fuck 12. Now I'm not a big fan of cops myself. But I'm smart enough to know thats theres good and bad in everything in life. And Idk I'm tryna figure out where all this injustice is happeing at. I'm Latino and I live in the south and I just don't see it. Any of you guys got a opinion on this. White/black whatever idc I just wanna hear some feedback.. Peace out..

Yes, but as Rose said, age doesn't equal maturity. If people in real life cannot have a discussion about race without getting worked up, a bunch of people online that are protected by general anonymity can definitely not handle it. Some people will be able to keep a cool head during it, but those are very few. Racial topics have proven time and time again on forums to cause friction. The conversation will not be productive.

...I agree. But like I said, this thread isn't going to be productive. People are going to end up arguing and the thread will be locked, and nothing will change. I'm only saying this because it has occurred before on here, many times. PIMD forums just can't handle a mature discussion about race. No one is respectful of each other's views and prefers to spout ignorant generalizations instead of relying on factual evidence and trying to find common ground. This includes your original post, which made inflaming blanket statements. If you want change for the better, you can't continue to stir the pot.
