I was recently silenced for calling a girl by her username, in this case it was college lesbian, I called her lesbian and got silenced, if I get silenced for calling her that shouldn't she get silenced for having her name that? So all in all, I believe that people should choose their names more carefully
She can be named college lesbian. But if you call someone gay or lesbian as an insult then that is silenceable. You were probably silenced because a moderator perceived it as an insult. While it probably wasn't an insult, it will be very unlikely that it'll be overturned. This is certainly a silly matter regardless and doesn't seem right.
And when someone's name has an adjective and a noun in it, it's typically proper to call them by the noun. She would probably prefer to be called 'lesbian' over 'college' provided that the player isn't trying to insult her since 'college' is being used more or less as an adjective in this sense. Silly silence
And yet another thread unhappy about being silenced. This is so sad, but super funny you really think people are going to care. You did wrong deal with it or next time try calling them college.
Don't make a thread whining about your silence. Sorry if that's a little harsh, but when people get silenced, they go straight to forums and complain. In case you didn't know, MODS CANNOT UNSILENCE YOU If this is your first or second silence, I suggest that you just take these next 24 hours or so to read over the ToU so you don't "accidentally" break it again.
A moderator would never silence for someone saying that they are gay or lesbian and we wouldn't silence if someone simply stated the words "lesbian" or "gay". ATA, and the mod family, support all sexualities and orientations 100%. Now if you were harassing someone, or using the terms in a degratory or negative manner, then yes we would silence you. We do NOT tolerate homophobia in any form in this game. If you have nothing nice to say, then shove it.
