Okay. So. News. It was on the news. And I saw it. And I questioned the logic of it. Thing is, nodamnbody that I personally know can give me a satisfactory answer. So I'm asking y'all. Y'all, the intellectuals of the world of whatever we live in. Don't let me down. I'm not pretty when I cry. ): Question One: On the news, it roughly said "He was deemed sane, even though he has schizophrenia...". I was like "Wait. What? Major hold up time." So. How can you be sane if you head voices? I mean, are they like "Yoouuuuuuu are saaaaaane! Now taaaaaakeeeee me tooooooo youuurrrrr leader!" or what? Question two: The woman the man shot in the head said that she was okay with him pleading guilty. By pleading guilty, he will serve his life in prison with no chance of parole or death. What else was she supposed to say? " I wish he'd plead not guilty so he'd be found guilty and die?" or "I'm glad he's guilty, but he should die." or "I wish he'd plead not guilty and go free!!! " or "THAT DAMN MOTHER FUCKER DOESN'T DESERVE TO LIVE BECAUSE HE IS A FUCKING INFLUENCE TO SOCIETY AND SHOWS THAT WE LET KILLERS ROAM FREE IN PRISON!!" or what? I mean, what else could she have said that would've been politically correct? Why even bother to broadcast that? I asked the first question at home, and was presented with the following: - How can you have schizophrenia and still be sane? Says I. - I hear voices in my head. They tell me whether what I'm doing is right or wrong. - ...That's not schizophrenia. That's your conscience. - So everybody has a conscience. Everybody hears voices. So everybody has schizophrenia. - Dude. People's consciences tell them what's right and wrong. Not like what the voices supposedly say. They're not like "Go. She wants you." And it's talkin bout a cow so you go and kill it and drink it's milk. No. It says "Nooooooooo! Don't kill the cow! It's wrong!"
That one part.. Uh, I don't remember exactly. I think it started right at the beginning, and the last part was the very last word. .-.
Was it really that confusing? I'd describe the case, but I don't want to get my facts wrong.
The shooting that happened early last year. It was in Tuscon, Arizona. Gabrielle Giffords was shot in the head and spent time in the hospital and rehab after. Six or so individuals were killed. The killer pleaded guilty recently. Not quite sure on the numbers. But I think I got everything else. That's the case I'm talking about.
Well to answer number one, you can be sane and yet still have a mental illness. You have to have a doctor on paper that prescribes the right medications for your illness. Now, no one can know for sure if they will take them or not, however you can't say the person is insane due to a mental illness that can help control it with medication. They are not able to lock someone up, due to something they can't control, however if it happens multiply times they will request a mental hospital to make sure medications are taken regularly.
Answer 1- I think the voices only speak sometimes. Like when they're triggered or something. Not always. Answer 2- she was doing what the public expected. Make a statement to let people know what's going in. In this case, that the guy is gonna rot in prison and she's okay with it.
No one can answer that but himself.... Your question was how is he deemed sane, well that is why he would be sane, until stated otherwise, like of he had multiple offenses due to not having any treatment he would be labeled as insane.
Lol. Kk Zeezee. But still. It wasn't necessary to broadcast it. That was the only thing she could say to let people know she cared without messing with her career. I wasn't caps raging. That was her mind caps raging. But what's to say he wasn't insane at the time and was sane when he took the test? Or could that happen?
