    Move the numbers around all you want but it has to equal to 3.

    Give it a go, anything goes except for brackets and division.

  9. Because you would have to use square roots and most wouldn't think of that. It's funny how you posted this thinking it is impossible and it's not. 9^1/2=3 (not division just using to represent a power which was never said to be not allowed).
