Troy By Percyous Percyous' POV As I walked down the plank from the ship and steped out onto the soil my armour and weapons shined in the bright sun. I looked around me to take in my suroundings and found that I was on a shore that was already starting to be decorated with tents and fires. The other soilders were helping set up tents, unload cargo and doing whatever else they could to help. I decided to take advantage of the few minutes of confusion and sneak a look. I then quickly ran past the tents and stoped and stared at the city of Troy.
Percyous' POV Troy. The wonderful city of Troy. And to think it was Troy that we wanted to destroy. All because of one woman. Helen. Everyone called her the most beutifull woman in the world. I however called her a gigantic pain in the rear. If she hadn't ran off with Paris then I would still be on the island. Laying in the grass watching the sky, or maybe reading or writing. But since lord Odysuss had been called to war so were the young men of his island. So here I was, no training at all. Except maybe the work I do around my home and the island. I guess it might help keep me alive, hopefully.......
Jason's POV War, it Is so exciting, i felt my tongue lick my lips in anticipation for the battles to come. I would hack, slash and stab my way to fame. All will tremble at my name. Even the mighty lord Achilles. I walked past the men setting up tents to place with the only veiw we had of the city. As I arrived I saw a rather tall and muscular soilder had the same idea as me and was staring out at the city, he looked like a warrior. He was probobly visualizing the city in ruins and our armies marching away with the few women we took prisoner and all the enemy soilders dead. "You thinking about bringing down the city too?" I asked as I stood next to him ignoring the sounds of the Greeks settling into the shore behind us. "Uh, er, yeah" He said as he glanced over at me. He really did look like a soilder, but I don't think...... "Who do you serve?" I asked him inorder to determine if I was correct. "Lord Odyssus. And you?" I felt a scowl of disgust begin to creep across my face. He wasn't a real fighter, just some scholor dressed up in the real men's armour. But maybe he would be usefull, I decided to keep him around and answer as nicely as possible. "Lord Achilles." I replied with a fake smile.
Percyous' POV As we marched over the battlefield. I could hear the clashing of metal agianst metal. Smell the stench of blood and flesh, ripped open and lying on the ground. I could see enemies and allies alike falling to the ground, some never to get back up. My armor was heavy, if I hadn't had so much experience on the farm and in the forge and even helping out others in the city, then I would have been dragged down by the shield alone. I looked up and could already see Jason and his assighned company fighting valiantly. From what I could see not many of them even had scratches. They moved in their arm with such ease one would think they bore no weight at all. Then agian they served achiles and most likely had been training for it their entire life. "Charge!" my thoughts were interupted as lord odyssus gave the order and we began running foreward. Some stepped over or around the dead bodies. I trampled one underfoot. I was in the second row and last column to the right in our company's formation. I held my spear high up as we met our enemies. Percyous' POV I hit the ground as my breath temporarily left my body. My spear was long gone and so was my shield and sword. They had been knocked out of my hands a few seconds earlier before I was hit by my opponent's shield and knocked down. I looked to my left hoping for something to defend myself with agianst the sword he was raising, nothing. I looked to my right, a spear was lying snapped in two just within my reach. I quickly grabed the part that still had the metal, rolled sideways, stood as quickly as I could, and when his head turned towards me, sword still raised above and just behind it, I stabbed the spear into the bottem of his head. The metal blade traveled through the bottem of his mouth, impaled his tongue, continued to the roof, through his skull and brain, and stopped when it reached his helmet. The Trojan fell to the ground, dead. Dropping his sword and a look of surprise molded onto his face his arms lay motionless beside him as I stooped beside him and took his sword from next to him. I stood over the corpse and watched as blood flowed from his helmet into a puddle under him, I found something, I didn't mind the stench of blood, or killing, or the sight of blood, I rather liked it. And I wanted more.
Five Years Later A Trojan soilder's POV "Oi! Calm down Colin! You haven't set foot on the battlefield yet fool!" I laughed as Colin, the newest addition to the ranks, stood proclaiming how many Greeks he would kill. "Oh yeah? Well that doesn't mean I won't kill all of those weak cowards!" Colin proclaimed loudly, "And I'll be the one to kill Achilles!" he said in as loud a voice as he could as the other soilders I was sitting with all laughed and jeered at him. "Mark my words! With me on the battlefield we'll have them begging to be allowed to surendure!" he said as he used an inagianary sword to stab an imaginary opponent. "I'll stab Achilles right in the heart!" he yelled and was interupted by a soft, yet firm, heavenly voice as it spoke "Calm down cousin! Save your enthuseasim for the fight!" I turned and saw angel sitting at a table near the door. A smile was on her face as she spoke to Colin. "Fine...." he grumbled and sat down. As he moved I recognized a pouch with his first initial stitched into it, that fool was actually planning on collecting the teeth of every enemy he kills! Ha! That kid doesn't stand a chance..... "C'mon angel, sing us a song," I heard bryan say to angel as his brother, Cato, sat in a corner and watched shyly, honestly none of us could blame him! Angel was the most beutifull woman in the city! Maybe the world! Well.... Except maybe Helen. A few of us had seen her and..... Well, wow. "Not today Bryan." angel said with a laugh. "You'll destroy my voice if you keep making me sing for you guys!" "C'mon, pleeeeaaaaase.." this time we all joined in, even Cato. It took a lot of convincing but finally she caved. Her voice soon filled the air as she sung about how Paris met Helen. I personaly didn't care about that song, I woulda made the same choice, but the way she sung it, I swear I could listen to it all day. But sadly, it was almost time for battle.
