I sat on the cliff edge looking at the waves crashing into the sea below me, a swirl of colours and smells engulfed my senses and at last I had found peace. My past wasn't an easy one nor one I could hide from, you ever heard the phrase 'you can run but you can't hide'? Im pretty sure the phrase was designed specifically for my life. I stood up and stood on the edge contemplating what my future would hold. I could easily give it up now or take a couple steps back and head back to what mess I'd created behind me. I never meant to hurt Nick or Zack, but sometimes passion gets too much and you can't control it. If your life was a book and you were the author how would you write it? A happy ever after? As nice as the happily ever after sounds I know for a fact it never happens.
I looked back down at the sea and I felt tears starts to form in the rim of my eyes, I scrunched my eyes closed and shook my head viciously. I wasn't going to cry. Last time I cried, I hurt people, I didn't want to hurt anybody anymore. I felt my body start to shake and I opened my eyes and looked down at my hands, they had turned red, "too much fist clenching, dammit" I thought to my self morosely I once again began to contemplate my future in my mind. I had made my decision. I looked down at the sea and ran forwards into the dark murky waters that awaited me below.
"Katie?.. Oh my god, please be okay... Please" I felt somebody saying as they cried into my stiff knee, I didn't recognise the voice. I tried wiggling my fingers, but like my knee, they were stiff, I soon realised I was laying down and pretty much all of my body was stiff Who ever was crying into my knee obviously saw my fingers moving as the pressure eased on my knee. "Katie?... Are you awake? Please babe, open your eyes" "Why is he calling me babe?" I thought to myself confused. "hmmmphm" I groaned groggily to who ever this person was and gently opened my eyes As soon as I opened my eyes, I realised it was a bad idea, the bright celling lights made me wince in pain and shut my eyes once more "who made these lights so bright?!" I said in what I hopped was an shout "Oh my god you're okay! I thought I lost you forever!" I felt the person flung on top of me and cry into my chest I opened my eyes and looked down at this person, well man, who was crying on me. He had brown maybe blond short spiky hair, a long but defined jaw line and cheek bones to die for, his lips were pink and full but his eyes were the most outstanding feature, he had bright emerald green eyes that I couldn't help fall in love with the more I looked at. However, he also looked exhausted and drained of energy, stubble was on his face and yet, he still managed to look sexy as hell. "listen... I don't know who you are or what you're doing here... But I'd appreciate it if you'd stop crying.." The man looked up at me and gawped like a gold fish "you honestly don't know who I am?!" I winced "sorry I don't," I said apologetically The man rubbed his forehead and sighed "I'm Zack, you're boyfriend."
