I have a quick maybe or maybe not interesting to you, but, it goes along with this picture (sowwy if it's big ) Well, The week of May 5th - 9th, I went to Washington D.C. for a trip for a club I was in, NJHS (National Junior Honor Society) We, as a group, went to Arlington National Cemetery to see The Changing of the Guard at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier Being me, I got super excited and maneuvered my way to the front of the crowd so I could see what's happening. So I sat down on the stairs and starting taking pictures of the tomb, the guard and the scenery I took a video of the guard guarding the tomb, and out of nowhere, he halts, walks out of his steady pacing path and stares right at me and yells "All visitors must stay behind the chains and rails at all times", then resumes his stance I completely freaked out, but I tried not to giggle with my friends because they were past the rail as well So after that happened, we watched the lead guard come out and do this whole amazing routine to see the guards switch Whence that was done, we left (without getting yelled at ) and we do our usual count-off, but #8 (not saying any names) was missing Everyone started calling him and texting him... But no reply Supposedly his phone was in the bus... So our teacher being superwoman at the time, ran around the entire cemetery, which is some 500 acres She came back all sweaty and out of breath, and out of no where, here comes #8 waltzing to our group with his head held high, camera in hand... Our teacher hobbled her way over to him, and she just gave him the hardest, most scariest face you would ever imagine She waited for the group to make their way over to JFK's Cemetery to let the poor kid have it right there From that day on, she never let him out of her sight, or he would have gotten lunch detentions until the last day of school a month later... Oh the good times.... Well that's it, I'll upload another treasured picture and share the story soon! I hope for those of you the actually read this had a short laugh Thanks! Sofi
