So as some of you may know.. more than 40 tornadoes touched down in Illinois on Sunday and 5 ppl lost their lives and more than 600 ppl lost their homes. 2 tornadoes destroyed 2 towns 1. Washington, Illinois the other Coal City, IL. So I was wondering if ata would be willing to donate some money to help those ppl in need.
One was in Brookeport, IL nearly 30 mins away. I will be donating to them and the others! God bless Illinois
ATA isn't the American Red Cross. I'd rather they spend the money they obtain bettering the gaming experience. If you wish to donate there are numerous charities and organizations willing to take your money.
I will be traveling to those 2 towns and helping those people in need personally, so if anyone wants to volunteer. Call red cross and they will pay for you to eat and cover your travel expenses
ATA donated to the tragedy that happened in the Philippines, so why not donate to Illinois? A tragedy is a tragedy
If ATA donated every time a tragedy happened, they wouldn't have enough to keep their games running. Don't misunderstand, I've donated and I believe in helping them, but this is a GAME and not a donation site.
You don't,need a donation site to donate and its called,a tragedy for a reason.. they don't happen often, but may God bless your dull soul
My thoughts go out to all the victims, but really. It was nice that ATA did this. It's a once-every-few-years kind of thing. I'd rather have the money go to PimD.
You'd rather have the money go towards a game? When we,got people out there struggling to survive. Who cares about games. Life and shelter and food is way more important
Yes I know, and there are so many other charities for that. ATA isn't a charity. It relies on the money it gets from dn and ec purchases to run, and ATA shouldn't be treated like an easy way to donate to people.
Im not far from il, we have contacted our local red cross and goodwill, we have a few school here that cant be repaired. My husband and i plan to help our state and then go to il to help out. Also we have made donations as well as our familys have
And for all you ppl who think this isnt a awful, or who wnt support this thread, i sure hope yall never have to go threw what these folks are, and if u do i pray someone offers help. May yall never have kids without a home or food. I think it would be great if ata helped, i mean they have helped in the past
There are other places you can go for donations...ata have just done a relief cause raising $100,000 That's already a big some of money to donate to charity why should they donate again when they've donated so much already But i guess its worth a try?
To help different people who need the help. Ppl from this tragedy aren't seeing any of that $100,000 and u acting like ATA worked hard for that money to donate. No we worked hard to have money to spend on doctors notes
Exactly, my condolences to the stats an people that live there. But America is capable of handling it's own more then the Philippines are, no disrespect intended. And you say "we" raised money for the relief effort, Better change that statement to a "you all" considering you didn't donate as you don't have a badge. But good luck ?
