Time Spent.

  1. Time spent.

Actually think about how much time you've spent here. Whether it be years on the game or months, how much time you've invested into looking at an app on your phone screen. Be honest with yourself, no reason to lie to yourself cause you're not going to judge yourself, right? Even for the ones who buy their way instead of investing time. Time is money, right? So you can add all the money you've spent soloing, CC club stays, or sessions now and figure out how much actual time you'd have spent to accomplish that without spending that money.

I've been playing longer than my award shows, however I can tell when I'm approached with issues or conflict how much time/money they've spent on this app. Seems more and more common I see the experienced (time/money spent) here as more disconnected from their humanity and arrogant. I frequently thought that newer players would be aggressors in an unknown environment and learning how things worked in most dramatic situations, but as time as went on it's proved to be quite the opposite. Not that it doesn't happen, just that it's extremely more common to see experienced players who have spent much time/money into the app that are the aggressors and demanding respect that they don't even show.

I'm not saying all that have years on the app or spent hundreds of dollars, or even both, are like this. I am however saying that in several times over, more times than not, the problem is someone who's been here a long duration of time or spent a good deal of money and expecting and/or demanding some sort of respect for it. Entitlement for time/money spent.

Now with all that in mind, think back to when you first heard about or downloaded this game. Remembering it was an app you didn't know anything about and downloaded to your phone. Whether you was bored as hell and it was a suggested app or you had a friend that invited you to play. Remember not knowing a damn thing and figuring it all out. Remember starting to meet people from all over. You probably didn't approach people with a sense of entitlement due to your time/money spent, did you?

  2. Agreed

  3. rt

maybe if it was actually informative i'd read that much but it seems to be just whining about how im wasting my life so i'll spend my time staring at another screen on my phone instead

  4. Those people you are mentioning probably display that persona on and off of the game. Find other people to talk to. You can't expect everyone to be nice, courteous, or to use proper manners when they meet new people unfortunately. I wish your experience in the PIMD community was a more positive one. I have also experienced the sense of entitlement you speak of and I am not blind to it, nor do I ever expect it to change. Just try not to become like those that have caused you to question how your time is being spent. Have fun. Worry less.

  5. wait. off topic. this is cute 

  6. I don't really get what you're saying tbh
But yes I just noticed I spent like 1000$ on this game already. Mkay.
And I noticed I spent over 3000 hours on it.

  7. I 100% disagree I've played this game just over 4 years met many many players some great some good some bad and some no words can describe but though all that I've remained the same player ! I'll help anyone, I'll show respect to any player that treats me in the same way and I have to say this " there's far more keyboard warriors now " these are the players that blight the game bring it down and force players to leave or go inactive I could start naming names BUT you know you are and all I can say is Karma is a bitch when it's your time

  8. I didn't even read it all. Felt like a waste of time?

  9. I'm not worried, just happened to think of how it at all is and while working and decided to write it down instead of dismiss it as pointless thought lol

  10. I said not all.

  11. Was exactly the point lol aside from, do you feel a sense of entitlement because of your $1k and 3k hours spent above those who haven't?

  12. Op please give me the small dumbed down version of what you are saying because I honestly don't feel like reading all of that

  13. Basically, I feel like most people who have spent either a lot of time or money (or both) Act as if they have a sense of entitlement due to it above those who don't and cause mischief due to the pursuit of some new found respect they feel they should have because of it

  14. Eh I really only respect those with time here because it means their dedicated and I respect those who have spent much more money than I have because I mean heck they keep the game up and running. In the end stats mean nothing really they're just numbers I've been here 6 years and I'm only 7mcs I don't really feel entitled. But I can relate to what you are saying.

  15. So you get it, but you're not one of them. See, what happened to respecting a person because they're a person? A lot of the time I've seen measures taken to demand apologies and respect from someone they didn't even have the courtesy of showing themselves. With most cases being, the one with this self entitlement has paid for their stats or been here years.

  16. Sadly that's how it is that's just human nature for some people it is just more prevalent

  17. I suppose I can agree with this even though I don't want to, but history and present shows plenty examples of people losing respect for themselves in a competitive field. Believe it's called unsportsmanlike conduct in sports. So why so much on pimd? Is it really that competitive to them as to why?

  18. Lmaooo what? I legit feel embarrassment for anyone that comes at me thinking they are better than me for having spent more money or time playing this game than I have. Like really? You feel like that for pimd? Party in my dorm? The place of freaks, weirdos and people with major problems/issues?

    Lol okaaaaaay.
