All I ever hear about is how bad mods are why don't we vote for mods ?! I would like to challenge for a spot!! Since mods are for the community this would be a good idea don't lock it lets hear what pimd community has to say about it
Some of the people that would be elected might be underage. Also, the people elected might not want to be a mod. Besides, PIMD isn't a democracy. The devs and the mods are the royalty, and we're the lowly citizens.
What's so great about a mod? Not that much. Yeah they help out in PIMD but honestly.. It seems like anyone can do it. They aren't that great.
Anybody can do it? Person, it takes a hell of a lot of time and effort to be a Mod. With the number of pervs/rule-breakers on this game, you have to be on at all times silencing those people. Look at a Mod's wall. There are people asking for vollies, advice, etc. You have to know the game. You can't be afraid to silence a friend, or reprimand a popular player. You get haters, you have to be able to deal with them. Darling, not "anyone" can be a mod.
So a few days ago there was a thread that got out of hand right? I saw mods reading the thread (using my computer) and it was really off topic. People were fighting, insulting each other, etc. a mod was even pm'd about the thread and responded to that pm. Yet 5 hours later it was still active Yet 5 other threads that were in active topics had already been locked, some for no fucking reason and others because they got slightly off topic Funny that, right?
According to leaked info by ex mods and one current mod (that I saw but have no proof of) there are 4 stages. First 3 stages are pimd related Q's and the last one is where mods vote if they want you in or not. So I guess if you're not friends with em..... Rejected
True dat. Cuz when I saw the ex mods and friends of mods talking about it, it was like.... 4 months ago. More or less
I don't think mods should have a say in it, cuz if they don't like you then your out!! Not saying it happens but if they want buddies in then that's the way it will happen just my opinion
Mods pick mods I hear? Judgements cunts. With a capital C! They shouldn't have a say. Only the devs should.
