    The Truth Can Hurt:

    Rory's POV

    I walked to my locker slowly, hoping no one noticed me, as usual. Then I noticed someone at my locker. It turned out to only be Caroline, my parents' friend's, Raychel's, daughter and only child.
    "Hey, bestie," I said with a smile as I opened my locker.
    "Hey, R, how was Alegbra?" Caroline asked.
    "Easy as hell, as usual," I smirked as put up my Algebra and history books. Then I grabbed my Lituratre and Mythology books.
    "Hey! Sis!" I heard and looked to my right. I saw my older brother, Carson. He was a senior while I was a sophomore. He got my father's hair and mother's many colored eyes.
    "Hey, Carson, what is it?" I asked and I placed my books in my bag.
    "Mrs. Morris needs you, little tutor," he smiled.
    "Oh, right! I have to blow off Mythology though!" I exclaimed.
    "Go now! Then you won't have to miss your favorite class." Carson shut my locker for me and pushed me lightly towards Algebra. I pushed through the jocks, cheerleaders, other nerds like me, the goths, etc. I was pushed around and I finally reached Mrs. Morris's classroom. I opened the door and smiled. She looked up from our papers from last period and smiled at me. She beconed me towards her and I stood in front of her desk. She marked on a paper and looked up.
    "Alright, Aurora," she started.
    "Rory," I said. I hated being called Aurora.
    "Sorry, Rory. Being too formal. Anyway, I have your pupil for you."
    "Great! What's her name?" I asked.
    " His name is Jason Melinski." She smiled at me. My smiled faded. Jason? Jason Melinski? Oh, hell no!
    "Wait, Jason? Nonononononono. I can't totur Jason. He's-" I started.
    "I'm sorry, Rory. But I can't change it," she interrupted. I nodded and walked out. That was going to terrible.
    I think it's time to introduce myself. I am Aurora Penski. I am the daughter of Cara Penski and Josh Penski. The famous lawyer and movie writer. I have my mother's looks and smarts. And sometimes it's a curse.

    What do y'all think? And this here is purely fiction, so none of this has happened as far as I know. And, you may be thinking this is like Rosie's story. And it kinda is, just keep reading on and you'll see the difference!

  7. I feel so honored! Just to let you know it's Lindsey not Lindsay. It's a common mistake...

    Well anywho... I am really looking forward to this story. I can't wait for your next update! I love how you brought back the characters from love and loss! I'll keep reading and please wall me when you update!

  8. Oops! Sorry, hun! And you are very welcome! And I did that so everyone who reads can understand whose children are whose, that way it isn't so confusing!

  9. I like it you should describe Caroline a little bit more like looks and such :) bump!

  10. I read the story but I can't think of any words to say that is constructive.

  11. Oh, I will! but first... Another update about the mysterious Jason.
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Jason's POV
    I sucked at Algebra. And I asked the teacher to assign me a tutor, and I picked Rory. And I picked her on purpose. I wanted to make up with her after our bad break up. Our relationship ended with a total scream-fest!
    I walked out of my first hour and spotted Rory. God, I missed her. She was my life until we broke up. And now I have Veronica. She's a ****. A big one. And now, I have to deal with it, trying to make Rory jealous. But, I knew that wouldn't happen.
    I walked to my locker, right next to Rory's. I stared at her the whole time. Then she started leaving. I ran to my locker, opened it, grabbed my Algebra book and ran to catch up with Rory.
    "H-Hey, R-Rory," I stuttered when I finally caught up to her.
    "Jason," was all she said.
    "H-How are you?" I smiled.
    "Why would you care? I broke up with you." She kept walking and tried to walk faster.
    I jogged to keep up with her. "Come on, Ro."
    "Don't call me that ever!" she exclaimed loudly. Everyone started staring at us. She took my wrist and dragged me to the nearby janitor's closet. She shut the door and glared at me with her beautiful, many colored eyes.
    "What the hell, Jason? Don't you get it? I broke up with you! You shouldn't be talking to me when you have that ***** Veronica! Just leave me the hell alone!" she exclaimed and threw the door open. Then she walked out, obviously angry. She was so cute when she was angry.
    I walked out and sighed. I headed to Algebra, where I shared the class with Rory. I sat behind her while she was talking with one of her nerd buddies. I stared at her dreamily.
    When the teacher started teaching, I snapped out of my trance and started trying to understand. I still had no idea what Mrs. Morris was talking about though. And Rory knew everything about everything, so she would be an amazing tutor.
    Let me introduce myself real fast. I am Jason Melinski, son of Rob and Cammy Melinski. I have my mother's brown hair and my father's grey eyes. And I have my father's stupidness, I might add. And sometimes, it's a curse, but it can be a blessing.
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Poor Jason...

  12. Bump! Oh jason...

  13. Rory a girl? 

  14. How sad haha bump!!

  15. Raychel, she said in the first update her real name is Aurora

  16. Another update and that will be all for the day!

    Rory's POV

    "What? You ex?" Caroline asked with a shocked expression on her face.
    "Yes! And I can't change it! Dammit!" I replied and slammed my hand on my locker. I sighed and groaned in pain when it settled in.
    "When does it start?" she asked.
    "Today, after school! And it has to be at my house and I really don't want him to come back!" I exclaimed. "And," I added, "Carson might kill him when he sees Jason!"
    "Oh, dear," she replied.
    "Can you come over?" I pleaded.
    "I can't! I have a big dinner with my mother!" she exclaimed.
    "She's back home? Congrats!"
    "But she has another one of her 'boyfriends' coming to join us." She shuttered and sighed. I heard the final bell ring and I groaned.
    Caroline gave me a quick hug and whispered, "Good luck." Then she walked away and waved at me. I grabbed my Algebra book and put it in my bag. I checked to make sure I had everything and I slammed my locker.
    "Miss Aurora Penski!" I heard a male voice behind me. I turned and saw Mr. Hemmingsworth. He was a tall man around my grandparent's age, if I had any. He had thinning grey hair and lonely sunken eyes.
    "Yes, Mr. H?" I asked innocently.
    "Did you slam that locker?" he asked.
    "Yes, sir," I said and hung my head. I knew what was about to happen.
    "Detention, now," he said sternly. I groaned. Not again, I thought. I have been in detention more than once, surprisingly enough. All from Mr. Hemmingsworth. All because I slammed my locker door.
    I nodded and followed him to detention. But I smiled to myself because I wouldn't have to tutor Jason that day.

    Jason's POV

    I walked to Rory's house when I heard the bell ring. I wanted to be there went she came. I waited on the the steps of her house, waiting and looking down the sidewalk for her.
    I heard the door open behind me and an angry voice growl, "What are you doing here?"
    I turned and looked up to see Carson, Rory's older brother.
    "Oh, hi, Carson. I'm here for Rory," I replied. I kept my voice steady and my eyes locked with Carson's.
    "Why?" he hissed.
    "She's my tutor for Algebra," I replied steadily.
    Carson sighed and said, "She has a detention today, she won't be here for an hour, so I suggest you either beat it or get in the damn house."
    "Thanks, man," I said and stood. I walked inside of Rory's house. I walked into the living room as Carson shut the door. I sat down on the couch and took the remote. Carson grabbed it out of my hand and started flipping through channels. We stayed quiet as we watched the channels fly by.
    It was awkward until he stopped at my favorite show.
    "Hey, I love this show!" I said.
    "Really? You have good taste, man," he replied with a smile. Everything seemed to smooth out from there.
