  1. So this is a story I'm trying out, tell me what you think as we go 

    The Tides Of War
    Sin.
They say it was the sins of our fathers that brought apon us this war.
    An End...
Many thought this war would never end, that the blood would never cease flowing.
Through out my years i have heard many tales. I have heard of the glories battles. I have heard of the horrific scenes in which the world burned and drowned within a sea of blood and flames.
I have heard of the great Hero's of war. The Hero's which brought hope too one side and misery too the others.
Truly each side has had many Hero's, truly each side has had just as many villains.
    An End.
Neither the north, the south, the east nor the west ever thought such a thing would truly come...
No one could have dreamed that there would ever be a day when this war would cease.
... But neither did anyone ever think of the possibility of a new enemy.
Tens of thousands were slaughtered by them every night.
The unknown force would appear out of thin air and just as they appeared, so would they vanish.
The carnage they left in there bath seemed almost inhuman.
And for the first time in 3,000 years of war, all sides began to turn there attention away towards this unknown foe.
Months passed, many continued to die. But now the deaths were moving closer to home.
For the first time in 1,300 hundred years the leaders of the four great empires met to discuss a course of action... And for the first time... The Possibility of Unity.
But this new enemy could not dissolve 3,000 years of hatred, and the war continued, but this time with a vengeance.
And time continued to pass, until one day they found a survivor.
A mere eight year old child.
The child, when asked how did he survive? He merrily replied.
"Everyone... Everyone dying.... No hope... Father, doctor.... Hide me in corpses... Medicine... Stop heart beat.... Everyone was dying"
After a few hours of trying to bring the boy to his senses, the question the whole world waited for was asked.
    "Who were they?"
The boy stayed silent for two weeks before he replied with the few words that would forever change not only the war... But the world.
    "Vampires... They were Vampires"

If it had been but only a few years ago the world would have laughed, they would have thought the child was simply dilisional.

But the world did not laugh. The world became silent. It was as if all of mankind had stopped in fear.
And for the first time in 2,100 years the red zone, the center of the wars most bloody battle zone became silent.
All that was left was an erriy silence and a thick fog that covered the red Zone in mystery and darkness.
A fog which no human could survive, a fog which the world now knew the vampires lived within.

But still our war did not end, it merely expanded from Four empires to Five.... And now the world entered a new aria of war.
The aria of the walking Dead.

And now I kiss my wife and my baby boy one last time as I too march to my death.
And as I leave them behind there are only two things I pray for.
I pray that I too do not join the ranks of the undead... But most off all I pray that the sins of my fathers and there fathers before them, do not stain the hands of my son, just as they have stained mine.

    End of prologue

Soon to come is the beginning of the first actually chapter :D
