Alright, Lets all be adults here and discuss a few things of the Nothingness. Anyone know where the term Nothingness came from and what cult used it very often? If you guessed Charles Manson and the family you would be correct.. As I said lets be adults and discussion what psychological aspects do you think fed on Charlie Manson's need for control and for power? Now if any of you know anything about Manson & The Family you should have a pretty good idea of what he is and what he did. If you don't please take time and get up to date on what happened in August of 1969. Let this be a fun thing and don't bash on ppl for their ideas. I hope to read your comments soon. Happy Foruming! -Kai
I think his insanity stems from his childhood or maybe from bad parenting . It may have been the way he was raised, childhood abuse, lack of parental guidance. It could have been because of anything really. You never know what goes on behind closed doors. The reason I say it's because of his parents is because that's usually why most children are so.. wicked. ,_, However, he could have just been born crazy. The only person who knows why he did it is himself.
Charles Manson was born to a teenage mother and the father was never around and they only thing he knew of his father was his last name which was Maddox. His mother would leave him with who ever to go out and drink and have encouters with many men. The only father figure he knew was a man that his mother married later in life by the name of Manson who did adopt Charlie. By the time Charlie was 32 he had spent 17yrs in jail or prison. His first arrest was at the age of 10 for thief. The girls that joined him in the family were all from different walks of life most were from abusive homes but some were from highly influencale homes who were very well off. I personally think that the reason Charlie was crazied for power and fame was from the lack of love and attention from his childhood. I do believe that if there was a way to go back and do a psychological evaluation of his mother and biological father I do believe that you would find a history of mental illnesses, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and displaced personality disorder. While there is no chance of parole do you think he could receive mental help and possibly live the remainder of his life inside a low sercurity mental hospital? If so, what are the possible positive effects it could have? What about the negative effects?
That post was probably very insightful, detailed and well written but I don't feel like reading all of that. So, I'm just going to agree.
it's not that it's too much. It's just that it's night time and I really don't feel like reading it all, but I did skim over it and you seem correct.
Ohh okay. Brit Seriously anyone who reads this that hasn't heard about the Manson Family Murders really needs to do some research. It is very interesting.
